Last week Friday, he was rushed to hospital after making an emergency landing.

They called it a 'flu' and that he would be just fine.

There hasn't been any recent photos of him for most of this year and last year, so it was a bit confusing. Something has been going on. May God rest his talented soul

Aww! Prince nelson, the Sign,Tafkap ,gone?!! really sad. i remember hit 80s and 90s songs like sex sex, signof the times ,dimonds and pearl. Another rare gem and truly the world has lost another legend.

Many Nigerians are likely not to know who Prince is . Nigerians like pop music . Prince's psychedelic style isn't popular music .

I disagree, many Nigerians knew who Prince was like they knew Micheal Jackson. I was born and raised America but my parents are Nigerian and they have his old records beside micheal jackson, King Sunny ade, Obey, Fela, Marvin Gaye and other top Nigerian and some legendary American singers. It was my parents who even introduce me to his music. so it depends

Never cared for his music but RIP nonetheless. Michael Jackson's death shocked and left a gaping hole in my heart for a full week. I thought MJ would live to see 65 but the cold hands of death needed him more.
Prince was also a mason of the highest order. Someone who predicted 911 & Bin Laden's attack 3years before it happened in a concert in the UK. How was that possible?

I thought it was a joke to but once BBC confirmed it, I was shocked. He died to young and there have been rumors that he was planning to do a big world tour soon
Just like Michael Jackson was planning to do and was executed. Prince and MJ have been compared at a point in their career. Such stars' successes aren't ordinary due to the tremendous wild spread sales recorded because they gave something to get those rewards.

I was often amzed when people compare prince To Michael jackson.Pirnce is unworthy to shine michael jackson's shoes. Even the most remote tribes in the most remote islands know and love Michael Jackson.

you need to reread my statement. I am not comparing musicians. I said Nigerians knew Prince like they knew Micheal Jackson, I never said they were in different levels or one was above the other. Take that argument some place else cause nobody can ever replace Micheal Jackson, just like nobody can replace Prince.

People say that Michael was crazy. I disagree. I think that Michael was quite ok. Prince on the other hand was not well at all.

True I agree, but I don't know about them being executed though but when I was young I remember someone compared them. As young as I was then in my opinion I felt you can't compare them, I don't see how you can, they have different types of styles, swagger and music maybe because of their skin color

His death might be connected to drugs, yes musicians are fond of taking stage enhancing or stage performance drugs to make them cross the limit. We have heard of the case of Whytne Houston, Michael Jackson, etc

Did you know prince only sold 100 million albums in his entire career. Michael's dancing shoe alone is worth more than prince career.
