With the way this government keeps denying everything I wont be surprised if they deny ever asking Nigerians to vote for them.

You're absolutely correct. Where's someone like that never-do-well of a boy with the handle "jpphilips." Many a time you see some of them trying so hard to arrogate monopoly of wisdom to themselves and in the process disparage others who're by miles better off than them in all ramifications. The worst of it all is that even when it's crystal clear that they lack concrete knowledge about economic and global affairs you will still see them constituting nuisances everywhere with their useless theories... Vagabonds.

Man your type is freaking scary. You have lost touch with reality altogether. The irony is you live in the illusion of smartness despite your emptiness. And that makes you and your types freaking dangerous to anyone that listens to you.

Who is to blame. This present administration or the past? Let us be honest to ourselves. The past administration scattered everything, left all state purse empty, crumbled every sector with corruption and y'all just forgot about it so soon. The problem with Nigeria is we forget so easily the beginning of our problem, the people who ignite this hardship we all are going through right now and we are blaming this present administration.

For those of y'all who quote me. I have just 5 words for y'all. Kiss my hairy black azz". If y'all think y'all or y'all damn daddies can rule this nation. 2019 is just around the corner and approaching fast. cheesy

People will just open their useless brain and be commenting rubbish without thinking. If govt has not come to terms with the Chinese about using Yaun to trade instead of dollar, it is because there is no mutual agreement yet and negotiations is still going. Our government is just being careful so as not to jump from frying pan to fire. Nigerian youth stop fooling yourselves and think before you people open y'all stinky mouth.

Partisan politics aside, you're thanking someone who added to our problem?

We are currently facing this issue now because of the following

1. Low oil revenue - Not caused by Jonathan
2. Not saving excess oil revenue when price was very high above budget benchmark - Caused by Jonathan and all greedy governors then
3. Trying to defend the Naira against the dollar so the people would not face the reality resulting in the foreign reserve depletion - Jonathan to be blamed here
4. Mis-managing of the little foreign reserve left - Again Jonathan and crew to be blamed (Dasukigate evidence)

In the face of the scenarios listed above, the presentation to government has refused to defend the Naira because doing great so would have led to the country going bankrupt and not credit worthy to suppliers of critical imports.

What many do not understand is that the current fuel scarcity is a direct result of the foreign reserve issues we've been having. It only subsides when government is able to save enough to import in bulk so as to flood the market.

Conclusion, the issue would have been worst under Jonathan had he continued causecause, they would have continued defending the Naira until no more foreign reserve left.

I think u are doing the right thing @d wrong time. When are we going to stop blaming the past govt? It's almost a year now what we keep on hearing is blame upon blame. Was it not this govt that saw the anomalities in Jonathans govt and promised fixing them within 3months? By the way who told u that GEJ didn't inherit problem as the president of Nigeria? Since we got independent or let me say since after civil war tell me when things(leadership) has been smooth? Is it not Abacha's looth that different countries have been returning back to Nigeria since his death? Is it Obasanjo that was a cent when he was the president?
The main issue @hand is how to be progressive and not pointing acusing fingers till eternity.

We still use the dollar. But if it not enough and there are some people who want to invest in the country, instead of crying that they cannot take dollar out, there might be yuan that they would be happy to take out because it is now internationalized as a currency and they can use it. So, it gives us a much larger option.

When will Buhari realise that it takes Rocket Science to deal with China and our comatose economy?

I am not asking him to handover to PDP even though they at least know what they are doing despite their massive thievery and looting

But i am sure APc would have at least one or two people with functional and Y2'K compliant brain to run the affair of this country so the daura geriatric can retire home and stop proving us wailers right always..

I pity his zombies because the old dude keeps falling their hands and making it harder to defend his politicies..

Agreed we should stop all this blaming games and move forward. Also the three months the the APC we all know was just part of the political gimmicks and we should never hold them to that.

With patience, the economy would be diversified but not without current pain. In order not to be held responsible, the government still points fingers at GEJ for causing it. We all know PDP=APC and APC= PDP no difference at all.

It's so sad, it's always bad news about my country . Smh, iam so scared of withdrawing my money because this exchange rate stuff is killing , I'm sure you understand me better if you are also outside the Country , the only thing Nigerians are saying here now is " I regret being a Nigerian" Our parents are complaining from home about the exchange rate , Buhari stopped the use of Western union to any country outside Nigeria , this same buhari reduced the daily withdrawal limit to just 30k, it takes me over a month at times to withdrawal the whole of my school fee , we can't even pay our school fee anymore through direct deposit from Nigeria , imagine your tuition fee is like 400k , you can only withdrawal 30k everyday and the bank charge is like 6k per withdrawal , that's different from this exchange rate again o , definitely if your school fee is 400k , your parents most send you like 700k just because of bank charges and exchange rate and it's going to take you over a month to withdraw your school fee.
That is the change "they clamoured for"
For crying out loud how on earth can developing country elect uneducated person to be nigeria's president when we all know that the world is in advanced stage. Even if it wasn't Jonathan can't it be another person?

And keeping the Naira at 199 to the dollar as against the reality of 320 is called what. Abeg go to bed and continue evading reality. One year has passed Obama is still blaming Bush.

This is the part that baffles me. A Chinese bank will represent CBN to conclude a deal with another Chinese bank.

I tell you. There are all eager to criticise the government, whether good or bad, just give them a misleading headline, and that's it.

Misleading what! The markets are talking with their feet and you are yarning semantics. Who cares about government or politics. The naira is retreating, period. Those who have fx are not sentimental and will not stroke your political ego. They punish uncertainty. Fx policy - neither here nor there. Budget - neither here nor there. Fiscal policy - in disarray. Nothing is working. No direction, no momentum, no plans. What the hell....Bleep! Bleep!! Fucking kindergarten kids playing around!! So, so frustrating these people.

How will their fans who have spent so much energy explaining to Nigerians the importance of the "currency swap" handle this latest disappointed.
