nefertitiram:My person it is not that we are do not have empathy, however it is also known that folks come here and give half and half stories and seek for advice on how to hoodwink the cbp or 'be sharp' Take this piooots case as an example. Is there anything wrong in admitting she was the one? But she had a story,' my friend is not yet back hence I don't have the transcript' thereby effectively avoiding the pertinent question being 'did u misrepresent?' Then she goes to the interview and tells a story different from what she told here. Without any other evidence, I lean on conjecture and say , this person is not a person of complete truth. No be say n me holy pass, but my opinion simply stems from the fact that I hate having to go thru extra scrutiny everytime I arrive another country simply because I am a Nigerian national. Somebody posted here about how nigerians are excluded from the perks of being lodged in a hotel if your layover is beyond a certain time frame. Ah ah! Inside the country e bad , outside e kuku bad again. Shuuo! In good conscience, I think we owe a duty to thread users to call seemigly shady xters out or else this thread will become a haven for rubbish practices and people can boast about their misrepresentation. If care is not taken , this thread will now be used against us. E bad now as people dey stay7 hours in secondary inspection. In my humble opinion, If it will take a few deportations for people to learn honesty, so be it. 15 Likes 2 Shares |

TheLeakyTribe:@TheLeakyTribe Mama, You don't know? If you didn't withdraw your application there would have been PTA to share with her na?! Seriously though, I am aware that banks are still giving, but some insider deals are going on. Someone just told me of an "indecent proposal" she received from a bank staff. Azzin... You will be approved if you agree to give up part of the dollars to them. So they can buy off you at 199 and sell for themselves at a profit. Best bet, go to your usual bank and make your account officer Put in your application by providing justification on your behalf. I'm about to explore that option and hope it works. Will bring feedback soon. 1 Like |

She had the $7k cash, bank statement which she showed to them with a balance of N1.5MM. They replied that hospital cost is inexess of $20,000 so all the fund is not sufficient. She had not paid for the hospital yet. She told them the hospital just gave only appointment but bill was communicated on phone as $5k. (Quote) (Report) (Like) (Share) do? Me:I told her (Went thru my passport saw d cancelled visa nd said) Vo:wht's ur story Me:was returned at Chicago point of entry, cos officer on duty said I don't AV enough money, meanwhile I had 14k dollars nd den I was 32weeks so e adviced my visa will b cancelled so I can re apply but make sure I pay my bills Vo:AV u done so now?nd do u AV proof Me:yes ma,showed her reciept of payment nd doctors correspondent frm hospital Vo:how did u make payment? Me:husband transferred to hospital acc AV the teller slip Vo:let me see Mesadshowed her) Vo:ur visa is being issued u can pick up in 3days tym Me:smiling thank u ma... Well that was my story.... My dear this your story in my opinion is disjointed and there is a missing link somewhere is it actually you or your friend that was deported? Or you are just trying to feel the pulse of the people on the thread? Anyway which ever is the case I feel vo and the cbp are out to protect the same American interest and that visa will not reissued on a platter of gold in less, than 2 weeks except by divine interventio. The transcript at the Poe would have probably been recorded so for you to tell the cbp you had $7000 and getting to the vo to say you had $14000 without him raising an eye brow?huuumm anyway sha nothing is impossible. If I be you or "she ". I for go back to that Chicago go redeem my image and do unhinnnn to those winchie cbp. Besides if you go thru Boston as planned them fit ask you say why you no go Chicago like before make e no come be say them go send you go Chicago by themselves Abeg no be me talk am ooooo #pickrace# 2 Likes |

Popri , LadyGuinevere I stepped back so talk of "bullying" nor go enter but the truth & the version presented are two completely different stories!! Visa cancelled with prejudice, immediate question about boston POE, inconsistent account of events & less than few days later visa is granted? Issokay!! I know one thing for sure, we are not the only ones that read this thread & as someone who has been "harassed" in 3 different countries airports on different occasions, we implore our people to try & have "straight" stories... 7 Likes |

Hi house, I have a case. I acquired my visa for vacation and did the whole change of intent for child birth. Arrived JFK and was asked wat I was here for, told them vacation and childbirth then he took me for secondary inspection, d cpb was a black guy and he started wailing about how Nigerians come here for American passport , told him I was here for better medical care, he said when the government changes, he was sure the rules will change as well. He refused to check my email correspondence or even cash on me, he only said he would do me a favour and printed an I- 539 form for extension and stamps me in for just a month. He said I should make sure I mail the form and pay d fee 290 dollars and once I mail it attaching my correspondence , the restriction will be lifted . Quite confused as I am 32 weeks now and d form seems not to apply to my case. |
