How is the next king selected? is the kingship rotated amongst different ruling house or only the sons of the previous king can be king?

Do you really have an idea of what the Obas palace symbolise in Benin, or your small mind is telling you that it is because they cannot afford to change the structure of the buildings that the palace looks like that. Do you know that the Binis value their cultural heritage and the palace is a symbol of the intricate ancient city of Benin. Grow up dude, we can afford lots of high rise buildings if that is what we want in the palace.
