From the look of the accident scene, one will understand that it is entirely the fault of the bus driver.
1. He was driving on the opposite lane

2. Even on the opposite lane, the accident occurred on the opposite lane

3. He was on such a top speed that he could not swerve his hand to avoid head on collision, drivers tends to avoid head on collision by swerving d vehicle at least to save their own life, but he could not do that because of high speed

nice analysis, the first story had it that the truck driver did the wrong overtaking,this article says otherwise,either ways the pmt driver takes the bulk of the blame,all to his recklessness and overspeeding,from the pictures it just rained,or it was raining at that moment,any sane driver should slow down due to poor visibility and good tyre traction with the road,he prolly maintained a straight course right into the truck,no time to make a detour or swerve off the road,most drivers just dont apply caution when due,rip to the dead.

Her name is Dorine and she lost both her husband and her daughter in the fatal accident involving a Peace mass transit bus and a lorry.

Eye witnesses to the sad incident blamed the reckless driver of the peace mass bus for the tragedy as he left his lane and tried a high speed over taking which ended up wasting 10 lives and injuring other critically.

Would never forget my experience in one of my journeys to PH with them.Drivers was reckless and the annoying part of it, them so much believe in these fetish charms.would even brag with you of bn indestructible on Stirling.

RIP. Who enters peace mass again? I stopped peace mass when the driver overtook 3 trailers on a bridge & escaped clashing with an oncoming trailer enroute Abuja. Only God saved us.

It's always Peace Mass... Jezzzz!!! I still dunno where the Mgt. get their untrained drivers from.. The few periods I traveled to Enugu, I had my heart in my mouth.. They keep flying and overtaking trailers as if they have watermelons in their buses, and not humans..

Their drivers are:
• Insulting
• Reckless
• Incorrigible
• Nonchalant
• Annoying..., etc

You would do well to avoid them. They are the worst, maybe tied with AKTC and Imo transport company. Very reckless drivers and general i don't care attitude to the safety of their passengers. Just observe if you are travelling long distance and caught up in traffic and notice the first set of transporters to abandon their lane and cross to one way. I can assure you 9 out of 10 times it would be Peace mass transit drivers.

If you are looking for the safest and most professional then look at ABC transport. Their fees maybe a bit on the high side but I have never heard or seen an accident involved in by their drivers or seen reckless driving amongst their drivers while traveling.

If there is no other available alternative means of transport would gladly take ABC on any road trip.
