God Punish Buhari day and night wherever he goes for this unbearable hardship he's imposing on us.

Pure water: Old price, N80/bag and N10/sacchet, new price, N180/bag and N20/sacchet.

Again, God bunish buhari with his fake change.

That is since they couldnt increase the price, they had to reduce the quality and quantity.

it's sooo sad to see the level of mediocrity and ignorant bliss pple are demonstrating..

you think if Jonathan was president all these wouldn't have happened... it would have and it would have been in three folds.
Jonathan set the precedent for all Nigeria is going through. the wasteful depletion of forex et al. reckless squander of federal resources...

it's a shame that of all times to be president. buhari got to be it at this point. coming to cure the disease other individuals cursed this country with.

My broda read this link and see that really this government has no clue on how to run the activities of government, they might have good intentions but don't have the technical knowledge on how modern day government is run.Trial and error has become has become the order of the day regarding delicate issues that concerns the nation.wrong exchange rate policy put us in this mess. The government needs a sound economic team to revive the economy of this country as to avoid us going into recession. If the government had countinued with some laudable policies of the previous government and discard the ones they felt wasn't right they would made this country a heaven on earth cos I believe government is about continuity.During the previous government prices of food stuffs dropped considerably cos the government supported farmers.I remember I bought a mudu of garri@80,corn @60,foreign rice @7,200/bag,beans @ 160,G/oil n recoil @220.why allow the price of commodities to sky rocket as we know in Nigeria that it's difficult for prices to crash.Let the government get to work immediately and allieviate the sufferings of the masses.

The global economy crashed since 2008 but Nigerians under the disguise of corruption hardly felt the hit as government and political leaders were mortgaging your future and your children's future in order to maintain stability. You bought fuel at 86 Naira per liter instead of 120 or more, the government pays the difference. You refused to diversify from oil,so when oil price crashed, the government started using money meant for infrastructural development to accommodate subsidy and other unnecessary governmental spending but Nigerians don't care, as long as they got fuel at 86 Naira and imported rice and tomatoes at normal price. Nigerians don't want stable electricity, good roads and more jobs, these things don't matter as long as fuel is 86 Naira or below, I can see them now shouting "BRING BACK OUR CORRUPTION' grin grin grin

Where have been? I need more people like you in Nairaland, not those short sighted, children of hate, blinded by both religious and ethnicity bias

Inflation is caused by a shortage of dollars due to the fall in oil price. Less dollars to sell means Naira depreciates and inflation goes up.

Wail all you want. Even Barrack Obama as your Presido cannot save you from the inflationary effect of the oil slump. More suffering is on it's way.

Stop using low oil prices as an excuse for Nigerians to go through hardship, Buhari saw this coming and promised to diversify the economy yet he allocated more money for Information minister than Agriculture.

The prices of oil is low and how has that reduced the money being pumped into the pockets of legisila-CHOP, Execu-THIEVES and Judi-SHARE ITS.

These people should also be considerate enough to reduce all allowances and salary to what a University lecturer is earning then we can move forward.

Your comment is very insensitive!

If everything were expensive, food should not be. If we had pragmatic labour and agricultural ministers, this would be a very good time to mobilise farmers at the grassroots. We don't import soil. We don't import land. We neither import hoes and cutlasses.

Instead, they removed the subsidy on fertilizer.

It's not you I blame. God punish poverty.
My bet is that you and a number of your loved ones have valid international passports.

Instead of facing how to make things better for those who voted them in they are there chasing big men that don't have voters card. Can't pmb focus on agriculture as a means of employing youth.
