If they want us to use internet all the time, why have a banking hall? They can as well close all branches and contact their customers via email

She just angrily directed me to another lady, and she too asked me rudely; where is your ATM. I said I was travelling and I ran out of cash and I am in need of money but she told me i can't withdraw with the slip and I should enroll for another ATM. I told her i can't and after that I requested for a transfer form then she directed me to another lady.

The lady @ the transfer deck asked me what kind of phone I am using to which i answered Nokia 206. After some minute of filling the form, I asked her the time I will receive a notification and she said she can't say but it has been done.

MY OBSERVATIONS And REASON FOR PORTING OUT
1. They all lacked politness and courtsey
2. They don't value their customer
3. Non challant attitude
4. Poor customer experience and engagement
5. They all don't care if u stay or leave

Yet, many will claim that it is because most of the counter staffs are not well paid. We lack customer service however, you could have taken a step further to speak to the branch's head of operations about her staffs' attitude. There is no crime in choosing not to use your ATM card to withdraw and I guess the staff don't know they are in the bank because of customers.

Guess am indifferent about Access bank.... There Customer Service in Ogun State and Lagos is Wow... from the gate dey can greet u a million times " U welcome to Access bank" is what u keep hearing.... even the customer service is wow... Am always been welcomed with them pretty girls and their smiling faces.... My opinion thou.... U should try and mail them on ur complain.... Trust they would look into it.... My love for Access Bank dou

Are they forced by their employers to keep their jobs? If you don't like the pay, then take a walk out of the organization. It is not about pay, it is just sheer laziness and impoliteness by the staff of the bank.

my brother i know the first lady you talked about. She is very fat same with the other lady. The rude lady was rude to me too one time like that because i wanted to check my bank balance. She is fair in complexion. Access bank needs to sack her.

account balance determines their attitude.

Access bank is running a campaign on increasing the number of customers that use their atm and mobile app. All branches have a target to reach, that's why they are hoarding their withdrawal slip to coarse customers into getting an atm card and signing up on their mobile app, that was why she asked you the phone u were using when you refused to get the atm card. The Access bank I had a stint with don't joke with their customers, channel your complaint through the right source and it'd be treated asap. Sorry if you felt bad the way you were treated the bank.

I opened a current account with Access Bank about three weeks ago and I am yet to get either an ATM or cheque book. I was told my references couldn't be verified (despite getting an Access account reference). I supplied another reference and the story is the same. The account is open to deposit, but closed to withdrawals and I put in something substantial in the account, but I don't have access to the funds.

Tomorrow morning, I'll go to Access Bank and inform them that if my account is not operational by Friday, I'll write formally on Monday with my letterhead to close the account. Let them reply me and put their useless reasons in writing and I'll reference it as an example of when slothfulness costs you customers.

Pity that's the trend in most of our Nigerian bank these days.. Maybe they are Frustrated... I can't say.
They seems to enjoy "pushing" you from one person to another.

I had similar experience at a first bank branch the other. But one of their Elderly worker intervene .

I have had that experience countless time with many first Bank branches too... there will tell u that if you are not withdrawing more than 100k you should go and use the ATM even when customers have the right to use it or not and I have decided never to use their ATM again becos of an previous bad experiences. In fact In their Gwarimpa branch in Abuja at a period they were not even collecting deposits that is less than 100k cos they said there were renovating. No wonder GTB and upcoming Diamond Bank are getting populated by the day becos of their superb customer care.

@op am not saying that you are lying or something but I think these things depends on firstly MOOD and secondly MANNER OF APPROACH.
I stay in Barnawa kaduna south close to Danbo college so I use the said branch of Access bank for my transactions...infact I got a new ATM from the said branch last week and I didn't encounter what u listed above..they attended to me honourably so I think the bad day u had with them could be as a result of any of my points above..

Their ATM service in Kano is next to terrible. I have complained to them severally about it but the problem persist, it hardly dispense cash. thank God my salary account is with GT now. Messed up Access Bank.

You've made a point there sir, am just pointing out from a single angle but with your point sir I'd agree that some employees could have attitude issues too not minding how bad they are portraying the image of the coy they work with. This really need to be addressed as it really goes a long way and play a vital role on the company's integrity

Not all but most of you guys behave as if you own the bank ,always talking to customers anyhow especially the girls wen we know the peanut they take home monthly.

I told one sometime that they are alot of people waiting for her job if she's tired of it. She kept quite.

I am not in support of the treatment you recieved from them but I believe they want your subsequent transactions to be convenient for you by enrolling you on mobile banking...like my bank now, you can withdraw without ATM card, you think it is a lie?, message me...

I totally agree! I went there ones to make an enquiry, it was as if I was add more to their life sorrow. They were so bitter and rude.

This rubish can never happen in my bank. That's why is called zenith bank the ultimate bank. My brother port to zenith bank for ur peace of mind. There staff are highly motivated and the end result is costomer satisfaction which in turn results to greater profit

Op I can assure you this can't happen in my bank, WEMA they are outstanding and keep delivering a memorable service experience to their customers.
