Prof Ibhadode pioneered it. I am sure there is now a footprint laid down approach to this project which has become a standard for the yearly competition supervised by lecturers even as he has left UNIBEN to become the VC of FUPRE

Which material did they use for the chassis? How was it tested? Which material did they use for the body and how was it formed? What kind of engine is it using? Did you guys manufacture the engine too? What are the specifications of this vehicle?. There is no single proof that this car is manufactured in UNIBEN. If they had said they modified something in the vehicle, it would have been easy to understand. This one am seeing shell logo, I would assume the vehicle is an experimental vehicle provided by shell, for the students to carry out studies on how to minimize the fuel consumption or the exhaust emission. #thosekindathinzthatwudinterestshell

As always, nice finish from UNIBEN. I knew it would be above board when compared with what we have seen from other universities in Nigeria.

Nice. I like the shape, good aerodynamics. It's compact which is what we need in cities like Lagos with limited available space for driving and parking. Smaller engine but how is the efficiency...

Congratulations to you and to the previous ones. The sky will not be your limit. How i wish some good genuine rich Nigerians will come to the aid of our young inventors. Not government/politicians riches becos they are ritualist and thieves, so that they are not effected with the deadly virus.

Good work. more grease to your elbow. On technical matters people should learn to understand differently. A little progress means much. one step at a time. The one major requirement is the investor. Call it experimental investor. who will drop his money for experiment. that is one thing we lack in Africa. We prefer political investment instead. That means cash in cash out quick quick returns. When you imagine making of technical development, like this one people hardly understand the needed input that can give our dream result which we love to celebrate enduringly. I want everyone to leave the government out of this for now. One day, to our disbelieve though not today, without the government involvement, a Nigerian shall arise and step by step before your very eyes home made tech will become a reality. Today there are knowledgeable individuals all over our land with unbelievable skills waiting unfolding. Time. Just time.
