Firefire: You are right. OTOH, silence while golden, can also mean consent -- it might come back to bite, just as it is biting PMB now . . . no one knows tomorrow. |

989900B: Your submission always humbled me. Dear Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, I understand you have been vilified by the civilian coup plotters now in power. Please, do Nigeria and Nigerians another BIG favor, address the Niger Delta Avengers terrorist act against the Nigerian State. You have let go, but please speak against this evil for posterity sake. Our love for you remains unshaken, irrespective of the continuous campaign of calumny against your person. We thank you in advance for rescuing the economy of Nigeria from total collapse. Your faithfully, Firefire! 4 Likes |

Is it only Jonathan? All those who were supporting Buhari during election have gone underground. -What has Babangida said about Buhari gvt? - What has Obj said about Buhari, this one is beyond tearing membership card in the public? - What has ADAMU CIROMA said so far? - What has Sanusi the ecoomist said? - what has Jega who handed Nigeria to Buhari said. What concerns Jonathan with NDA? Maybe, he should be blamed again. Rubbish!!!!! 1 Like |

dimieprincess:[size=18pt]Which Ijaws are the majority by population or by making the loudest noise? What have you Ijaws achieved with your oil wealth and annual billions of federal government revenue allocations over the decades? Almost nothing! Educationally, you are backward. Economically, you are backward. Politically, you are backward. Almighty God gave you opportunity to have a President of Nigeria for 6 years and he failed woefully to develop even his own village without any pipe borne water supply. Bayelsa is the most underdeveloped state even though the state collects more than N100 Billion annual federal revenue allocation and the state is presently owing workers' salaries for months.
Only idiots will be less than 3 million people in population and be collecting more than N173 billion every year and still be lamenting for resource control when you cannot even control the billions of naira you collect every year. Urhobos, Itsekiris, Ibibio, Annang, Eket, Oron and Obolo, Efik, Ejagham and Bekwarra in Delta state, Akwa Ibom and Cross River State combined are more than the Ijaws and of course Urhobos will claim superiority over the rest of you. Firefire: I find it difficult to understand what you mean by politics of bitterness . didnt pdp play the same dirty politics that apc played? What will you classify the various sponsored adverts being aired on Ait about buhari, the various newspaper advert taken out by fayose ffk and others , what will you call the accusations that gmb is behind boko haram even after he was attacked by boko haram , the various insinuation of gmb wanting to turn Nigeria into Islamic state . For goodness sake Jonathan fought a brave and gallant electoral war which he lost . You should be consoled by the fact that he lost by a margin less than 3million unlike PMB that lost by a whopping 10million in 2011. You all should not destroy the country just because you want to return to power because if you eventually return to power you will meet a destroyed country that needs rebuilding and by then nobody will want to listen to your excuses just like no-one is listening to PMB excuses of meeting a damaged country . In this situation silence is not golden but complicity. If Jonathan can come in and ask the boys to stop this madness maybe the government will show appreciation and go easy on him. |

louqas: Thank you for your epistle, I hope you are not Chief Gbawe the Epistle writer. I am a full blooded Yoruba, but hate the type of evil politics played specifically by ACN turned APC, let forget the electioneering jingles. The activities of ACN cum APC culminated into wide spread hatred against the seat of the president, diverting attentions for good governance from all other organs and tiers of government, focusing and blaming all disasters both natural and artificial on the president. This is a root of bitterness. Now the seed is germinating in geometric progression having used hybrid seeds. Only a public apology by APC to Nigerians can reduce (Not eliminate) the bitterness. May God heal Nigeria. Shalom! 2 Likes 1 Share

Criminal activities of rebels in Nigeria boost oil price Eberhart says the supply glut that drove prices down since mid-2014 has been tempered by supply drawdowns related to the wildfires in Canada and the criminal activities of rebels in Nigeria. As a result, worldwide production in May is down nearly 4 million barrels per day. Higher prices have already had on effect on Energy Information Administration (EIA) projections, Eberhart says. The agency originally said that U.S. crude output would fall to 8.2 million barrels per day by 2017. Since then it has revised its forecast, reducing the projected drop by 100,000 barrels per day. "I think we're moving into a period of greater stability for American producers," Eberhart says. "With oil prices at $50 or better, shale producers in particular will have the ability to restart operations." - See more at: http://www.nigeriansreport.com/2016/05/50-oil-means-stability-to-american.html#sthash.l37EeBFf.dpuf
