This the type of pple to be rewarded to encourage goodness to come out naturally from Nigerians.

Not the likes of Olajumoke who did juju rituals for wealth and mumu pple now responding to juju remote control to give money, house, clothes. Cars etc

Two wrongs don't make a right.

That is not applicable in Nigeria.

In Nigeria, two wrongs makes a right.

I will never return money from the government even if it's 1k. I will better collect it and give it to orphanage than to return it.

Who government help?

This is a true man of God, exhibiting christ-like attributes, to even think that he is a Muslim is humbling.

I wish such example would cause us to reevaluate our lives.

I am a Christian and a good citizen. If I am the one, I will never return it because it wasn't stolen and didn't belong to anyone. Government money is Our money.

So why will I return my money government has been holding me for their policies causing me to spend more than I should.

That's not a criteria to make heaven anyway.

if you are a Christian then you are a disgrace to us

What's the criteria to make heaven?
Going to church every service day, paying your tithes and offerings, evangelism?

That Mallam has done a better evangelism by that single act of honesty which shows what he believes and his way of life.

How do you know it was not God testing that Mallam's uprightness/honesty in the face of compelling poverty?

That man has over come the lust for money and has an official receipt to show. grin

Humans naturally need to justify their immoral acts in order to diminish the pangs of our conscience. Politicians and armed robbers too use this sort of justification.

This is what I admire most about Northerners. As long as they can see food to eat and a place to sleep, they are content with life. No stress. Very few Southerners, if any at all will return such money. I, for one will simply consider it my pension, Chikena.

This is the mentality of a criminal mind. Going hungry will not kill him. He is more concerned with life after death and that is the life of an average Muslim for your information. With this, I have not seen any comment about his region/religion as opposed to what would have dominated comments if it were to be a bad conduct. SMH.

Your thought. Govt money is not yours but for all. These are the same people agitating for youths' participation in governance. Just imagine giving this one the key to the nation's vault.

While i commend the man for this patriotic act and wish him the best, the State government need to step up to their act.

If they did their work and documented everything very well, this could not have happened. The person incharge should be investigated.

Not just investigated but fired or deducted the exact amount he might have overpaid to others... you see the bane of naija agencies is there's actually little or no cosequence for fcvk ups.

Please, stop calling yourself a christian! You are simply a church goer or made christianity your religion. You can never be a christian (believer) and talk like this. Please, use it properly next time; "a church goer"!
