Good compilation. I live in rivers state...I didn't see Ikwerre in d list. I know igbos will be claiming them but from what I learnt in linguistics n history, they are not igbos.
Why do they speak igbo?, n ikwerre men like igbo women grin

Ekoi, Ejagham, Etung, qua, and Ikom(ikorn as u mistakenly wrote) are all the same thing in cross river state. Ikom and Etung are the main local governments.
They all speak ejagham(Ekoi) with dialectical differences though .

pulani is correct.... they are from senegal... if you google senegal you'll see pulani as one of the tribes.

Gbagyi and not Gbari. Although we are popularly referred to as Gwari. Niger, kaduna and abuja is where we are located.

I'm a linguist. I did my undergraduate research on Aniragu (Kahugu) Language. It is spoken across Saminaka Distric of Kaduna State.

The Language is not on the list.

Most so called tribes on the list are LGA, and also mostly dialects of a language imagine calling eket a tribe, etched. Also Itsekiri which is Yoruba.
There are no Igbo home to Delta state, how can you call three different ethnics with distinct traditions, cultures and different languages spoken from each other, let alone the igbos.

Some of these are tribes, not ethnic groups. Bunu, Ijumu and Yagba, for example, are Yoruba tribes. If you are listing tribes in Nigeria, you might as well include Ijebu, Ekiti, Oyo, Akoko, and the likes in your list.

Lets stop deceiving ourselves, majority of the so called "tribes" on this list are all dialects.

When did Awori, Owe, Yagba, Bunu etc become tribes?
Ebu is a subgroup of Igala
Eket no be tribe, na subgroup of Ibibio, same as Oron.
Ikom, Ekoi, Ejagham... are all the same tribe
And so on.... we don't have more than 50 tribes in Nigeria if all these micro dialects are properly allocated.... honestly speaking.


The list is just total Rubbish.
