if you want to enjoy staying in south africa come with money buy business you will make it more than people at home, dont hope on your certificate that's number one problem, you will use your certificate later but now that early

gm,please I intend coming along with my credentials, as a first time traveller using visitors visa.but I read in one thread of late they said I will be sent back...if they searches my luggage and find out about my credentials, they would assume I came 2 work in SA and will stay there forever.please advice

The question is..why do you need to travel with your credentials? Yes if searched and those documents found then you are more likely to be sent back

just incase of opportunities.

Please I don't want the credentials to be the hindrance of not traveling oh.

is there any alternative?like scanning of documents and all the trivial certificates that I may need?

can pay afford to pay *lobola on the person you intend to marry. *lobola fee in most cases is enough for you to do better things is life. Stop dreaming bro, think of what you can do in naija and stop dreaming of coming to SA to cross to another country. Many who have such dreams before now ended up being stranded here. I hardly come here but today you are very lucky to be listening to first class information from a true Nigerian brother.

Last year I made this short movie to tell Nigeria about situation in South Africa. This short movie below is a recount experience of a young Nigerian graduate who sold his farm land, business and left his wife and only daughter with the hope of making a better living abroad (South Africa). His large expectation turned sour and his beautiful dreams about working and living abroad became a nightmare when he couldn't find a better work other than menial jobs while the only hope is to return home and start all over again.

lobola fee is just like dowry usually collected by the family of the lady you intend to marry but it''s usually calculated based of the lady educational background but very very expensive.

I sent you a pm sir but I think I should put my stuff on here for multiple contributions!
My dad is a PR of RSA although he returned finally in 2014, I on my part am still job hunting here in port harcourt. My question; is there any possibility of me raising a family (I mean getting married here in 9ja,later on moving my wife and kids over to CT) via my dads PR status permanently for better life exposure and education as I intend working from here (9ja) and visit when on time off @ work?
This is just a plan, how do I go about this,is it feasible? I would be 24 soon and I have never been to RSA before.

Lol. If you are not coming to school, or have a defined set of goals. Don't bother coming to South Africa. Unless, you want to engage in nefarious activities like selling drugs and doing scam, good luck with that, because if you get caught. You'd be sorry. Plus, immigration laws are changing everyday. It's not easy to even collect aduro now sef. Think carefully before you leap. SA is not for the faint hearted

Why were you stripped of your wallet? Did you come with a fake visa??

No .I dint .they won't let mw into the country with a fake visa. I am a first time traveller so i planned to give the immigration in nigeria $50 but they came up with defferent stories and i ended up spending $200
So when I got to Tambo my BTA was short so they all wanted money .immigration and police .I guess I missed placed the wallet with the police .they were rough and brutal

My dear, SA people are not blaming Nigerians for their drug problems, Nigerians are really the ones doing drug in that country, I won't mention the tribe so as not to look like a tribalist. And then Nigerians make their citizens push drugs for them.
You won't know all these things unless you go there and see for yourself. The only fear I have in that country is HIV, but trust me, their ladies are very beautiful. Finally, you don't have to buy okrika to wear original stuff. Just go into a mall and pick whatever you want at a reasonable price depending on your pocket.

sadly, Nigerians are only the main drug syndicate because they corner a market (drugs sells themselves)..... any major city in the world have a Nigerian drug syndicate (believe me!) whether it be a major player like in Asia (Thailand/China/Indonesia etc), or just one of the many major syndicate like in Australia/France/Holland/Germany/Scandinavia etc but these countries (or you) should be smart enough to know that blaming Nigerians as the root of their drug problems is pointless.

again, these attacks where not the 1st and targeted ALL blacks that were non South Africans.
