A40: It's not difficult to detect a foolish comparison from a dolt. I await your boss rebuttal. I will be stvpid replying you again. dmcdad: He wanted to come and use you guys to resurrect, but despite a weak start from you guys, it seems another debacle awaits the ajakaja-40. He thought barca thread would be a fertile land to grow up. I think A-40 needs to appease the gods. |

A40: Just like Mobi Oparaku will win titles in that Bayern Liga. OK remove Bayern, Barca Germany and Brazil where you can win titles even in their clinic. Tell us what Lahm won in Stuttgart. Fact is Stuttgart won the league title immediately Lahm left them to be a passenger at Bayern. Alves was a confirmed beast before joining Barca. He won almost everything in club football for a small club. 2 Likes |

GBR1: Yes, thank you Mr Gbr.. As you know, I like my threads like I like my steaks....with a little bit of blood in the middle. Today's bout has been a funny one, In the blue Corner, fighting out the Raumdeuter stables, we have the mean, lean, killing machine known as A40. An excellent fighter on his day, he's a proven brawler who is known to have caught a few bodies, and claimed a few scalps back in the day. The problem is, recently A40 has been involved in some ill-advised bouts, occasionally involving facing a tag team on his ones, that has left his body battered and his reputation in tatters. He has recently lost bouts to Dahdemola, Airmark, and most devastatingly to BigKesh in the last 6 months. Brawlers like Airmark and Pataki have teamed up to mount a formidable challenge to A40 at home, and so it seems like he has had to pick his fights away from home, in faraway sunny Barcelona, to begin to rebuild his title challenge and reputation. The only issue now is that some how Airmark and Pataki(AirTaki for short) have managed to start a vicious smear campaign, insinuating that A40's brawling career has been heavily subsidised by his Stable and Stablemate (Raumdeuter), and that he really isn't a reknowned pugilist, but merely hanging on the coat tails of his "master", and benefiting from some form of Nepotism. As someone who has seen A40's signature 'Apoche Cra Cra' suplex move deployed to devatsting effect, I know that this isn't the case. However A40 has to prove to the crowd today, that he deserves to be seen as one of the top killers on this these boards... Which brings us to today. In the red corner, Dmcdad, aka The Mac Daddy, aka Mac and Cheese, sometimes mistaken for French Montana. Dmcdad isn't exactly known as a skilled fighter, and I would have to rack my brain to point to any particular victory of his that has stood out. Yet, DmcDad is extremely popular in his home turf of Barcelona, and he has been able to put that popularity to his advantage, with many of his team sneaking in to the ring to rain cheap blows and sucker punches on A40's dome whilst the referee was distracted. Fellas like Debroslink have been seen smashing folded up chairs on A40's back, homesteady went to kneel down behind A40 so that his eternal nemesis Airmark(who shouldn't even be in the stadium letalone the ring) could push him over. This fight hasn't been fair at all. You have renowned haters like Dadehmola and Bykebyke laughing in the audience like Muttley and Dick dastardly, but Still A40 has put a decent fight. Let's take a quick commercial break, and we'll be back to analyse some of the best moves after the Cut. Stay Tuned. 11 Likes 1 Share |

A40:Bla Blah Blahhh! Alves - Was arguably Sevilla's best player during his time there, led them to 2 Europa cups, UEFA super cup, Copa del rey and almost a league trophy! He went to Barcelona and boom, Barcelona built arguably the best team the world had ever seen after some trophyless seasons! Lahm - He was in Bayer that was already dominant, he went to Stuttgart for 2 seasons, he did no shït! He even played in Europa cup in which like 2 years later Alves won player of the tournament! Meanwhile Bayer were still wining trophies in his absence! He went back and continued wining trophies with Bayer! Biko who best fits the description of a passenger among this 2? |

jstbeinhonest: Never said He was a poor defender. What I did say however is that He is an average defender. He was much better attacking than He was defending and for this very reason He and Barca were a perfect match. Also Most Fullbacks nowadays are pretty much Wingbacks so my point still stands. |

A40:So you think you can insult? Bruv, you ain't got shiit in your arsenal. You gave me a fair warning? Chai, I dey shame for you. So the few lines you were able to cook up were punches per se? Like really insults? Dude, you have not done any damage whatsoever. The only punches I have maybe felt were like having bread socked in water thrown at you. I mean, that ain't nothing! So because I wasn't ready to do the new norm of having a merry-go-round argument where no one clearly comes out the victor or the loser, then you think you have schooled me? I'll beat you in any subject, no be say na mouth. Do you regard arguing back-and-forth as intelligent or plain stupidity? Because if I were to engage in any argument, I must be sure that the other party has something of sort to bring to the table. If I discover the other fellow doesn't have anything tangible to offer, other than wanting us to toll the circle of arguments that is being prevalent on this board in recent times, then I would shield my sword and not bother to waste my precious time investing on a matter than wouldn't benefit me intellectually. And, if you were to use one of the fallacies subsequently, please make sure you use it rightly cause you started with Argumentum ad Hominem and not the other way round. So, stop using something you know little knowledge about. |

chic2pimp: The emboldened is very inaccurate.... At his prime, Alves was arguably the most balanced Fullback in the world - he wasn't your typical Brazillian Wing- More than often, Barca's possession/ attack-minded style of play saw the brazillian make forays in the opposition's half for extended periods in virtually all matches but heck...Alves was pretty solid at the back - he was excellent in 1v1 situations & also had an impressive work rate. Like GBR1 enthused earlier.................... Alves at his peak>>>>>>>>Lahm at his peak In terms of longetivity/Consistency, the German wins! |
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by ddippset(m): 1:41pm On Jun 10, 2016 |
Lahm versus Alvez. Very very very close. In fact too close to call. Actually closer than messi versus ronaldo for me. I think the argument wound never end, there could never be a winner. Both them players have good cases and credentials to be better than the other. Lol, iam sick of the argument but enjoying the jabs. Couldn't get some pop corn, who's gonna share with me? Krasid's might be poisoned, Fredoo can I get some? |
