Yeah. If you go through it you wouldn't be making baseless arguments. Religion is the worship of a Supernatural but I worship a Supernatural but it's not a Religion. You need Honesty and an open mind to learn.

Very good. They just wanna win an argument, that's the problem. Macof is strong headed but folykaze likes to learn, though you won't see him admit it. You can read his lines..his doing all those things so that he won't appear defeated. That's okay by me so long as the core objective has been achieved cool
If I didn't drop my argumentum spirit in a closet, we would have reached 200 pages by now.

Mr. I've left you to your ignorance since, why call me back?

strong headed? what have you brought to this topic that I rejected to show my "strong headedness"?

I told you to first find out the meaning of religion. ..and other words like spirituality, worship, nature, spirit etc

btw there's nothing like supernatural. ..anything that fits into that category is non existent in all measures. Reason being that nothing can be above or beyond Nature... it is more appropriate to say "mystic"

It's really serious. I'm learning to take pity on those who do not know what they are doing or saying. I used to laugh or get irritated but I realized I ought be better than that. When I see arguments like that I only take pity on the proponent.

You should do same. It's not really funny. I'm beginning to agree no one does wrong willingly. We don't really know what good and evil really means. If we do we'd strive to always do the better of the two. It's not funny.

I share the same pity for you Atheists too. For one to be sure none of these is true he must have absolute knowledge of everything in the heavens. Is there anyone or atheist with such knowledge? I doubt. JackBizzle, I love Christ like I love Socrates but I'm yet to lead the life.

You seem like it's beyond you. You don't understand it. If you could see what I have in my head through telepathy you'd change your position. Atheism is not really for serious rational people.

Lol.....just say that you have a bias against atheism.

However, I wonder how you can claim to be a humanist and have an issue with atheism.

Humanists are either atheists, agnostics, deists, pagans and asian traditionalists- a set of people that don't have issues with arhiests

No. Humanists are simply those who propagate values necessary for healthy human existence. Any idea that promotes the existence of man is humanistic in nature. If in your theism you promote humanity you are a humanist and if in your atheism you abominate humanity you are inhuman.

My problem with most atheists is similar to the problem exhibited by most theists. Because both sides are scared of new revelations that would shatter their worldview they disdain them and tag them demonic and brainwashed thinking. That is, without even making a single attempt to understand it.

A guy opened a thread on the doctrine of UFO's. A revelation he got from the God who he asserts truly owns and created us all. The comments of a every atheist on that thread show that they suffer from same syndrome they accuse the Religionists. None asked how or why. These days Atheists treat Atheism as a faith.

See this bloody dunce.

I blame Johnnydon22 for this. grin

Nowadays, everyone wants to be like him (johnydon). They want to write ntelligent epistles like him.

Unfortunately, Reyginus lacks the intelligence but he wants to sound smart.

When we are talking about 'humanist" or humanism, we are talking about secular humanism.

Reyginus calls himself a humanist but has no understanding of the title.

See this dummy. Google 'humanism'. At least 90% of your results will be about secular humanism.

Any other form of humanism is outdated.

Reyginus, if you don't support the following, you are not a humanist-

Gay rights
Freedom of and freedom from religion
Banning of blasphemy laws
Women's rights and equality

Most of you guys don't really do serious thinking. Your intelligence on gay rights is similar to the intelligence behind implementing and applauding TSA in Nigeria. Okay I agree. Rights to extreme intake of alcohol is also needed.

Let me see if you are different. Is it morally right for a human being to harm himself solely because it's his self? Is it also morally right for human beings who believe in the propagation of human existence, that is, humanists, to support this person?

You can call your brothers in Atheism to help you defend the new faith.

You are a pig enjoying rolling in the mud. I will not let play with you and get dirty.

Just look at how you went off topic. a true fanatic can't ever be wrong and so, when proven wrong, the fanatic slings all kind of mud just to defend the faith.

Receive sense!

first question: it depends
second: it depends

yeah, with morality, it always depends.

what does your god say on the matter? is he right because he makes the laws, or because he's subject to laws? straight ansah abeg

also, somewhat equally important, as what preceeds may be beyond you, who in the world told you gay people are harming themselves??
