Terrible... Please can the govt ban these small buses from embarking on long distance journey already. Transport companies should be mandated to provide atleast a mini luxury bus. Who is with me on this?

Another Tragic happened today along Lokoja Abuja expressway, involving leading transport company in Nigeria GOD IS GOOD MOTORS. 5 were dead already and others rushed to the hospital. May the soul of the dead rest in perfect peace. Amen.

Its only right to think for yourself and stop suit saying.. Bad roads are not to blame for accidents on our roads, infact its one of those precautionary measures in disguise that helps reduce this accidents. People put their trust in their years of driving experience and some just don't care about themselves and how it might affect the lives of other people. With goats in the guise of human beings running the high ways, one cannot only be so sure of himself because another road user can cause the demise of another.. The bad side with having bad roads is that, it cn cause delays and damages to our vehicles(but that's if you're so impatient to ply the road carefully in some cases). But comparing the bad side of it to the good side of bad roads which somehow make road users drive carefully because they care about their cars rather than their lives, i Think its wrong blaming bad roads for accidents. yes I am aware that people can get accidents as they might be unaware of certain bad spots on the road while running on high speed, but that wouldn't have been the case if only they chose to drive with the right measure of velocity.

This is very unfortunate, may their soul rest in peace. I feel our rescue unit need to learn how to treat bodies of the deceased with more respect. How on earth would you dump bodies together like that? No body bags, no form of discretion towards public view. This needs to change.

Just when i was thinking God is good motors was the neatest and safest outfit to travel with. Omo ABC Transport luxurious bus na the way. Dem be snail but at least u go reach safely and without heart attack

There is nothing wrong with the buses.

The drivers are to blame.

However Nigerians are also to Blame. A proper driving course - (COURSE) can take you a long time. Up to 1 year. Good driving is a SKILL that can be mastered.

Then you MUST BE TESTED by an instructor. And then if you PASS, a driving licence issued to you to start driving a species vehicle.

In Nigeria, you can get a driving licence WITHOUT any lessons, or test. YOU TOTALLY LACK THE SKILL of good driving. BUT ARE ALREADY on the road.

And so Nigerian's keep dying PREVENTABLE accidents.

Advanced nations SELL A TEXTBOOK on driving until say their road is smooth. You must read the book to the end and do PRACTICAL driving exam. Not reading without practice of practice without reading. The two must go together.

So, the road safety commission cannot mobilize ambulances to convey the injured and dead?
