Advice For Holiday Destinations Outside Nigeria by Chinum: 6:26pm On Jun 25, 2016
Hello guys,

I'm looking for a suggestions on cool places that one can travel to for vacation.

Somewhere not too expensive but outside naija. Possibly a neighbouring country. Some friends and I are looking to vacationing some time soon but we have no idea where to go. I checked online but not much help from thr.

I would appreciate some help. Thanks.

I haven't travelled out before ooooo but from post I see here, if it's Africa, you could try Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania, Cape Verde. You can go post this at the travel section, you will get more help.

Do you want to travel within Africa or outside?
Re: Advice For Holiday Destinations Outside Nigeria by Bolade005: 6:33pm On Jun 26, 2016
Bro, my company will be going on tour to Cotonou, Togo and Ghana next month and it's definitely going to be fun-filled. We will visit tourist attractions, beaches etc

Nice bus, comfy seats, food, assorted wines and snacks, cabin crew to attend to your needs and accommodation.

Holla, if interested and for more details.

Mauritius is a cool place to visit and yes it's visa free but a plane ticket there will set you back more than NGN300k per person,
if you do go there I would recommend SAA it's bound to be cheaper than most other options.

have you considered Gambia? I haven't been there but I hear it's cool.

Within Africa. A neighbouring country to naija preferable.

Mauritius
Mozambique (you would have to fly to Tanzania first)
Gambia (a lot of foreigners have holiday homes there)

Mozambique should be the cheapest to go to. Try and look up how foreigners plan their vacations to these spots, so you know what to go to (unless you have month or plenty money to crisscross the country)

Below are pictures of Mozambique (not mine).

I must warn you, I've been told a lot of African countries do NOT like Nigerians and will treat you much less nicer once they realise you're one.

Also, you will get tips on what to do and what to expect. For every holiday, I pick somewhere I want to see then choose the country e.g. I wanna see the Golden Gate Bridge, so I know I'm heading to the U.S., California.

Your people will go everywhere and instead of trying to assimilate and keep a low profile, will be as loud as possible and commit as many crimes and live an expensive lifestyle flaunting ill-gotten wealth, acting lousy. 'Course they hate us. A Namibian girl told us that she and her friends like to party with Nigerians but would die before they let you know where they live. I knew a guy dating a hot Ethopian girl, she made him pick her up at the end of the road because her parents said all Nigerians are fraudsters. An Eritrean man I worked with saw a crime being committed and as we were calling police, said "you Africans" in disgust.

Even in Travel section, I saw a thread where they said they have started turning back Nigerians at the airport of Mozambique.
