I need to admit, with all this setting you posted your rig is actually a "MONSTER". I am looking forward to building my own custom rig, was actually playing Witcher 3 on my laptop (Asus Core i7, 16gb Ram, Nvidia GTX 850m 2gb dedicated) but I ) really feeling the game cause of the limits on the graphics, so had to uninstall it pending when I have a rig that I can fully utilize its GPU.
If I need to get something similar to your rig, how much will I be looking at (I feel consoles have some limitations on this).

You can only upgrade the RAM to 8GB, a faster SSD harddrive and Windows 10..I think you'll notice the difference.

Upgrades generally cost more money...are you looking to home remedies?

try the following then

1. crush some akaun on the CPU
2. use groundnut oil to lubricate the fans
3. when you are browsing, turn the table fan to highest speed and point at laptop

U seem to be fixated on only processors wen it comes to gaming. Processors are good but GPUs are the most important when it comes to games.

That bros' setup u quoted should be able to handle Witcher 3 on low to medium settings but not high. And dats bcoz of his GPU(gtx 850M) and not his i7 processor.

So i guess he felt he needed more graphical output from d system b4 he could enjoy the game hence the limits he was talking about.

wow i have missed a lot...and The guys packing the 970 and 980gtx do u live in africa not named south africa? cos in Ghana thos parts are too expensive. jux upgraded to a gtx 780 (its old yes) and it cost me soo much...hopefully it doesnt dissapoint. good thing it resell value is great.

Price is right, it's still around £160 in the UK for a GTX 780. Nvidia cards don't loose their value quickly.
Bet you are killing titles at 1080p with that.

yh...dats y i quickly grabbed it....cheapest i cud find nd well worth the price.

well with my 7850 xfx i was "killing it" not ultra but the eye candy was still available.

God knows i cant game with this kind of setup even if i could afford it. I would lose almost every round i play. Bcoz having to turn my head almost 90° to see what's going on the left & right screens would definitely be tedious.

I think the setup is ideal for racing simulators and not first person shooter though. It's certainly better to play FPS on one screen so you see all corners of game windows like you mean. If you remember the guy who put up a link of pro CS:GO players, their game window resolutions were even smaller as that both reduces input lag and easier to see all corners of the game window.

But think someone who streams live gaming content. They can run the game on one monitor, have chat software, skype, google chat etc with their followers on another and another to monitor the quality of the stream content...this can also be beneficial for someone who is in media content creation. 'Real estate' will increase productivity.

i just want to play the latest game on high settings thats all, i bought it used on EBAY, but it is almost new as it is still under warranty 190k ( comes with 8gb so i bought extra 8gb 10k )

my brother it is very cheap compare to nvidia, if you want to get nvidia laptop of the same performance you must spend higher

Only synthetic benchmarking software like 3DMark Firestrike, Unigine Valley/Unigine Heaven will keep your GPU locked at 100% utilization, but keep an eye on your temps when you do so.

From the games you mentioned, Witcher 3, AssCreed:Syndicate, Crysis 3, Ryse are demanding games..I've got them too
