No big deal here na,a frnd in philly even showed me somev pics of people hawking last year only that you cnt compare the level to lagos own atal...in lagos an average hawker is as fast as Usain bolt which leads to cars knocking them down most of the time and that's what the lagos govt is trying to stop i think...

The guy is really hawking...looks like 149th St Bridge...Manhattan/Bronx. Red light...guy walks between lanes against the traffic until light changes...walks back.starts all over again... $1 per bottle...ice cold...doesn't have to be shouting cause everyone knows the price. Maybe two hawkers the most at that point.... and one at some other major red lights. Yes...license is required...but police usually turn a blind eye in summer. Don't dare ask me how I know.

People sell cold bottled water mainly at traffic lights in summer months in most major American cities. Anybody drawing a comparison with the chaotic street hawking and selling in Lagos must be out of their damn minds.
