The only reason Northerners preach "One Nigeria" is because of the oil in the SS. It is their lifeblood and they know it

You see why Buhari devoted 40bn to finding oil in Lake Chad.

Once Lake Chad drilling commences in earnest, northerners will suddenly want to divide Nigeria. Those who say "One Nigeria" is non-negotiable will start shouting "Divide Nigeria"

This country is a game, only the wise are aware

Just watch

No oil in Lake Chad,it is just political propaganda.Schlumberger has been propspecting since 90s. The oil on Nigeria side of Chad is not of commercial value,Dr Ibe can take a bet on this, enough of falsehood,God bless Nigeria.

Where are they getting funds for this fruitless exercise? Hope it's not what l'm thinking? No foreign investor will explore Nigeria side of Chad basin with clear eyes
40 Billion naira was allocated for it in this year's budget.

Good one!

At least north can now go their own way with their one litre oil reserve and leave us alon.

If countries are fighting over deserts, mountains/rocky plains, oceans and arctic ice sheets like greenland, newfoundland etc do u really think naija is against ND leaving cos of oil? Smh

Guy u really don't know that LAND IS A SCARCE COMMODITY SHA

I don't believe this. If this is another country with great record of implementation, I'd believe.

Let's see implementation. It's not every time, "We will..." "We will..." Sometimes, DO IT.

We should be talking about true federalism

We should be talking about diversifying our economy

We should be talking about resource control

We should be talking about Agriculture

We should be talking about science and technology

Everything is about oil oil oil.

Better let the Govt go ahead and see how it goes it even balances the scale of power in Nigeria.

Its just that its a wasteful venture, trust its possibly not economical considering the length of time Nigeria had spent seeking for oil at this location.

I can't believe some people are celebrating this nonsense. Who in his right sense will want to go to boko haram compound in the name of drilling oil. Is buhari that stupidd. Jihad war doesn't end. They will still strike again and again. If it's a drug cartel or oil militant they have human sympathy. But jihad militant? If they catch you in close range they will butcher you into minced meat. If they like let them find Saudi Arabia in lake Chad, na wash.

Ur post Is irrelevant to the extent it's laughable.

If tomorrow a tree that produces money as fruits is discovered in sambisa forest it is even the igbos who will risk it all to reach sambisa.

ND that's a hotbed of militancy hasn't stopped MNC's from being inundated with C.V submissions from naija and abroad.

If it's in commercial quantity...it will be drilled. Best believe that

Shaking my head to Buboo's shenanigans.

Anyway no problem as long the proceeds therefrom is shared to all states whilst govt resolve ND crisis.

And this will surely make our northern brothers to start reconsidering their 'abobaku-one-nigeria' narratives.

Is it today FG has started searching for Crude over there with our petrol dollar because Chad and Niger had seen oil in their part of the basin?

We don't care, if we are left alone with all these wahala, though we have given enough to Nigeria, we still have huge deposit of Oil and Gas that our generations to come will benefit from! Rather, they won't. They will say Oil in the Niger-delta is sweeter and purer.

good. Its a win win for the Niger Delta.

The North should play the big brother for the next 60 years. That's exactly what the ND has done.

Nigeria can employ Directional Drilling, set up flow stations and pipe the crude to Warri Refinery in the spirit of one Nigeria grin grin If the gravity can't sustain pressure for long journey let them know there's always compressor stations to be constructed too.

We de here.

There are 2 refineries in PH and 1 in delta and you're pained because ONE IS IN THE NORTH Jeez u need jesus in ur life lols.

The kD refinery is strategic to oil distribution to the north.

If the news of borno is true then i'm sure the next refinery might be in adamawa/gombe.

Interesting that dangote is building one in lag, the Chinese claim they ready to build in akwa ibom. And a delivery date in early 2018.

That's progress in local refining of the product! Wonder what exactly NDA is fighting for.
