Read the article again the people that wrongfully killed the lady never said the killing was an act of faith. Islam does not support this kind of killings.


Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) observed people's rights in terms of good neighborliness, as he said: ““The best of companions with Allah is the one who is best to his companion, and the best of neighbors with Him is the one who is best to his neighbor”. The tradition included every neighbor, even if he was a non-Muslim.

Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) did not come to deprive those who did not follow him of freedom. Instead, he treated them with a rare form of tolerance.

There is no compulsion in religion:

Although Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his companions believed that it is right to adopt Islam - as it is the seal of the previous messages - they never tried to force any one to adopt Islam. The Noble Qur’an highlighted this meaning clearly by saying: “There is no compulsion in religion as truth stands out clear from error”. (Al-Baqarah, 2: 256)

Therefore, no one is forced to adopt Islam. This is so, even if the one who uses force was a father who wants goodness for his children, and even if the one who was compelled was a child who has no doubt about his father’s pity for him. Even the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) himself did not force people to adopt this religion, and Allah the Almighty says, “If it had been your Lord's will, they would all have believed- all who are on earth! Will you then compel mankind, against their will, to believe?” (Yunus, 10: 99)

Islam not only gave non-Muslims freedom to retain their religion, but it also allowed them to practice their ceremonies and preserved their places of worship. The Prophet (Peace be upon him) prevented his companions from disturbing Christian clergymen in their hermitages, and he never assaulted a non-Muslim place of worship. His companions, and the caliphs after him, understood this meaning very well; so, they recommended their military leaders not to seize or demolish their places of worship. Also, Islam gave them the freedom to follow their laws related to marriage, divorce, and the like.

The values of justice with the other:

Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) ordered us to deal fairly with all people whether Muslims or non-Muslims. This is mentioned in the Noble Qur’an, “Allah does command you to render back your Trusts to those to whom they are due; and when you judge between man and man, that you judge with justice”. (An-Nisaa’, 4:58)

What exactly is the purpose of posting a dead body of a pastor that was killed, while she was preaching the messages of the Holy Christ? We need to start looking at ourselves and embrace showing respect for the dead body and her entire family.

I hope this despicable pictures come off the front page of Nairaland and get deleted from this forum. We are too smart and too sensible to allow rubbish like this to fly.

RCCG Female Preacher Murder In Abuja: Islamic Cleric, Imam Who Ordered Muslim Youths To Chase Eunice Olawale Away Arrested

An Islamic Cleric who ordered some young men to chase away RCCG Deaconess Eunice Olawale has been arrested.

According to a police source NaijaGists correspondent spoke to today in Abuja, the self-professed peace-loving Imam reportedly ordered some boys to scare the preacher away from the front of the mosque in Kubwa early Saturday morning but the young men took the law into their own hands and stoned Mrs Olawale to death.

The Islamic cleric (name withheld by request) told Police he never ordered his boys to kill the preacher. He however admitted that he was the one who sent them to chase her away.

The spokesman Anjuguri Manzah for Abuja Police command said an investigation has started on the barbaric way in which the RCCG’s Pastor’s wife was murdered. He promised to make the outcome of the investigation public soon.

As at the time of this report, 6 suspects are currently in police detention in connection with Deaconess Eunice Olawale’s murder.
