Nigeria Hoping To Secure International Future Of Manchester United Midfielder Tosin Kehinde Before England

Nigeria are hoping to steal a march on England regarding the international future of highly-rated Manchester United midfielder Tosin Kehinde.

Representatives of the Nigeria Football Federation are working hard to make contact with Kehinde, Manchester United and the player’s camp over his invitation to one of the national teams.

And it is envisaged that they won’t have problems convincing him to play for Nigeria rather than England because he was born in Lagos 18 years ago before he relocated to the United Kingdom.

“We are aware of Tosin Kehinde, the midfield player at Manchester United, ” Team Nigeria UK boss David Doherty told allnigeriasoccer.com.

“He was born in Nigeria, when we speak to him we will know his options.

“We are sure he will opt for Nigeria, his own case will be easier for us and we hope to get him at some point. ”

Kehinde is one of the most exciting talents at Manchester United and represented the U18, U19 and U21 teams of the Premier League powerhouse last season.

Al Ahly Offering N800 Million Total Package For Ajayi To Quit CS Sfaxien, Agent Confirms Contact

Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm various reports that emanated from the Egyptian press that Africa powerhouse Al Ahly are working on a deal to sign Junior Ajayi from CS Sfaxien in the summer transfer window.

The Egyptian Premier League side have targeted the Nigeria U23 international to replace Malick Evouna who has agreed terms with Chinese club Tianjin Teda F.C.

“I can confirm that Al Ahly have made contact with CS Sfaxien, they have offered Junior Ajayi a three-year contract and the total package is 700,000 euros per season (N=800m for three years) , ”said Tunisian intermediary Mahmoud Ouaddeni to allnigeriasoccer.com.

“He wants to leave Sfax so it will be easy for him to join Al Ahly. ”

Meanwhile, Ajayi has played down reports linking him with an imminent move to Al Ahly, stressing that he is in another world as he is with the national team in Atlanta.

“I am in camp now, and I’m hearing news like that. I don’t know how true it is, ”Ajayi said on Wednesday night from Atlanta.

Ajayi has two more years before his contract with CS Sfaxien will run out.

Manual Garbage on Ovie Ejaria

“He came to our camp back in 2013, He showed flashes and we were impressed by what we saw in him but he left the camp before the team took shape to complete his move to Arsenal and we moved on” Manu Garba told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” I would have called him up for the U-20s but still again he just joined Liverpool and needed to settle down but his quality and career rise has never been in doubt”.

The new coach at Heerenven wants to sell Otigba this transfer window. Hope he gets a decent move that will give him more visibility to Nigerians.

Derby, Middlesbrough and Trabzonspor are interested.

He should choose the premier league club. Borough

He is 22 and could have helped Siasia's team...

We talking 'bout Taiwo not Messi, nevertheless I rate Eto higher than George Wear. What do u think is the reason why some find it difficult to rate Messi ahead of Pele or even Maradona.
And how many Ballon d'or has taiwo won to start with

What lessons can the NFF and Coach Samson Siasia learn from this article?

Renato Augusto and Walace join Brazil for Olympic games

The two stars, of Beijing Guoan and Gremio respectively, come into the squad to replace the injured Douglas Costa, of Bayern Munich, and Shakhtar Donetsk's Fred.

Renato Augusto and Walace will join the Brazil squad at August’s Olympic Games in Rio.

The midfield duo were included in the Selecao’s final 18-man squad which was submitted to the International Olympic Committee on Thursday as the two changes to the original squad released earlier this month.
Beijing Guoan’s Renato Augusto replaces Bayern Munich’s Douglas Costa who withdrew through injury, while Gremio’s Walace comes in for Fred after Shakhtar Donetsk refused to sanction his release.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos has also been confirmed in the squad, despite the French champions writing to the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) earlier this month to announce they do not plan to release him for the games.
Felipe Anderson’s place was also thought to be in doubt, but his presence was confirmed after the player thanked Lazio for agreeing to allow him to participate.
The final squad list also features four alternates, though their names were not made public.

Coach Rogerio Micale is now hoping no other clubs will step forward to block the participation of any of his players.
The under-23 tournament is restricted to players born on or before January 1, 1993, though each club is permitted three overage players.

28-year-old Renato Augusto joined 37-year-old Palmeiras goalkeeper Fernando Prass as one of those wildcard slots.
The third overage-player position was filled by senior team captain Neymar, who skipped last month’s Copa America in order to lead Brazil in their quest for the country’s first ever Olympic gold medal in football.

I believe that with proper negotiation, NFF can get players released. It is just Nigeria at play. In 1996, we were able to assemble an almost entirely foreign based squad.

The rules have changed now. In the past, the IOC and FIFA could get clubs to release players. Today, the price of players have gone up. Football is now big business.

FIFA handed the decision making to the clubs. This has made it very difficult to get players released.

In the past we could complain to FIFA to get players released. Just like Argentina and Messi in 2008. It is not like that today.

This case, Brazil carries weight. Nigeria doesn't to the club's.

He is still young and has potential. Once he can get the end product right, he will be a great player. At a smaller club, he will have less pressure and that may be a good thing.

That is one trade mark of the English press. They hype English groomed players alot.

If Iheanacho had been a son of the soil in England by now they would have likened him to another Maradona. grin

Me, I personally dnt rate English players that highly. They only have good development structure. The individual talent is hardly there.

Look at all them Delle Alli & Ross Barkly how dey flopped at d Euros.
See also how Nathan Oduwa of Tottenham Hotspurs performed below expectation at d U23 camp.

When Jodon "Aib" chosed to play for England i personally cared less. We have more talented home raised teenagers rising up d laders.

I join u in wishing him the best in life.

Believe me, even if Nigeria where the ones hosting the Olympics games these Clubs would not have done otherwise.

I sense the NFF did not d o their home work properly for the release of some of our players for the tournament.

The NFF most of the time see successes of most of our national teams as that of the Coaches.

Believe me, even if Nigeria where the ones hosting the Olympics games these Clubs would not have done otherwise.

I sense the NFF did not d o their home work properly for the release of some of our players for the tournament.

The NFF most of the time see successes of most of our national teams as that of the Coaches.

The NFF seems to be a house divided against itself.

Yeah u have a point here.

But branding plays a vital role here.

In football Brazil is a bigger brand than Nigeria coupled with d fact that they are d host, jst like TheGoodJoe put it. Clubs would tend more to respect the call of Brazil to release players.

Another pt is that a player featuring for Brazil in a major tourney would add value to dat player in d transfer market. Brazil is a team everybody would want to watch and so clubs would be willing to advertise their players in d colours of Brazil.

The Nigerian Jessey no get value again na, more especially with that white band wey dem put on the green jerssey angry
