What would you say about National Open University where students don't know their examiners or whomever will mark their scripts?. It's almost like writing a professional exam. But an exam with about 30% pass rate? Na ACCA question dem dey set?

It's either the lecturer is a sadist, didn't impact knowledge, the student's learning environment is very poor or a large percentage of the students are dullards.

Am a proud NOUNITE! No sorting, score as u read. Still some folks who no nothing about National Open University keep discriminating. There's no way u can measure/test the intensity of one's knowledge with the kind of examinations conducted today in most of our Nigerian Universities. This alone kills the morale of serious students. God will help us...

How many of you noticed that a someone got 89! and another got 82! I think some of the students should share in the blame too, not only the lecturers.

The story is the same everywhere, i remember ENGINEERING THERMODYNAMICS (ME 211), out of 130 students, 63 failed. The reasons for this are varied, for instance in the course i mentioned above, the major reason why people fail is as a result of too strict marking script, the coordinator believes that Engineering is all about efficiency, so IF U GET ALL YOUR STEPS RIGHT AND MAKE A SMALL MISTAKE WHICH AFFECTS YOUR ANSWER, then you have failed the course.

The other reason is when that Coordinator usually ask a junior lecture who do not properly understand the course to teach, the lecturer will come to class read the notes and leave and only the smartest ones will be able to understand.

op, you need to also check results from faculty of science of that same institution, at times I do pity students from other faculties offering science courses as borrowed course.

Op i remember this type of results those days in main camp, we used to call it EFCC result. Very common in Med school, Law, pharmacy and engine result boards that year!

A critical look at the result would reveal a lot of errors. Some students scored 40,41,42 and were awarded an E while others who scored 43,44 were awarded an F. Somebody needs to assess the assessor.

I finished from economics dept of uniuyo and U get what u earn... So students should sit up... We shouldn't blame lecturers all the time.

How can i get authentic fake BSc certificate? See, my cousin is very skillful and very knowledgeable in his field that he has been working in for 5 years now. he has even trained many certificate-claimed engineers in the field. He is about to be dropped on account of his certification. Now, An opportunity has come for him, but he needs a B.sc certificate to back it up. He can very well defend himself practically and theoretically, but lacks the certificate. Times are hard now and one cannot let opportunities like this slip away. He is the breadwinner of 5 kids without a father and he is about to lose it all or get it all in this company. He has OND in political science and that is not a criterium for this job. so, how can he get an authentic fake Certificate ASAP? See you...for uniuyo, pipo dey score 07, 09, 06 for exams like say na reg number. But finally, discipline tight for there. Even though I was victimized occasionally, I couldn't complain because whenever I looked at my counterparts in other schools, I knew uniuyo dey try.

Bro, I am a graduate of UNIUYO. That University as far as I am concerned is a no-nonsense varsity. If you know you're not ready to bend down and study, don't bother going to UNIUYO. A graduate of Mech Engr in my church is currently doing his ph.D abroad because he graduated with a first class from the same department in that same university. He is being sponsored by the university. I know some lecturers are wicked but most students these days do not care about their studies.

it's not a surprise to me; it's typical of my alma mater - Uniuyo. This is exactly what we used to face back then in school. Those who are blaming the students are completely wrong; they are intelligents just like Nigerian students elsewhere. The problem is the lecturers. They derived pleasure in failling students. The department I graduated from is the worst. There was a particular semester our Head of Department ordered for a remark of a course, simply because more than 35 percent of the students passed the course with As. Everybody was pissed off. There are many sadists as lecturers in that school.

I can see an A as high as 89...that means the fault most likely lies not in d lecturer but in the lectured.

Futoites especially those in physics department in those days won't be in a hurry to forget prof Ama Nduka and Phy 401
(quantum mechanics)... It was worse than that result above... Failing that course guarantees extra year.

I'm not surprised, Uniuyo is a horrible school where lecturers feel like gods, and 90% of them graduated from Uniuyo.

Op I checked the course and saw Advanced Thermodynamics I was not surprised after. In my 200 level when we did ME 261 ( Thermodynamics I) in UNN the result was worse than what you posted here. I was among the students that failed it. Thermodynamics course is always bad since time memorial, the people that had " E " will be celebrating, unless you haven't written the examination before you would never understand how. Prof Ezekwe the strong thermodynamics lecturer.
