Quantify and share these noticeable results if you have time but na iGPU clocked 1Ghz boost clock and a 1.4Ghz dual core CPU we they talk about here sha...nothing to write home about. I won't get hung up in trying to get 2-3more fps on a game that runs at 10fps...that 40% gains is incredible.

FRAPS is a software you can use to display the framerate the game is running at.

Following a little research I did on the lenovo G50-30, it comes equipped with the Intel celeron N2830 dual core, no hyperthreading CPU. It's an entry-level CPU. This chip doesn't cut it for gaming to have favorable gameplay tbh. You can try lowering your resolution/image quality settings to see if it improves...most of the titles that run smooth on mine will run on yours too having a higher CPU clock speed.
Try Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Devil May Cry, Shank. You shouldn't have issues with those games.

On non-gaming laptops it's not possible to do so, including yours.

God forbid I buy a system with integrated graphics talk less of an intel branded gpu. 1080p video at 60fps brings my laptop to its knees, I can't even play mid-range games.
My next upgrade would've a 2GB NVIDIA card at best and an integrated AMD/ATI card at worst. Make intel carry their wahala go.
