Why is it not okay to mutilate female children but its okay to mutilate male children? Let me guess, our ridiculous religions says its okay to mutilate male children.
Why the double standard?
There is no foreskin in a female children genitals to remove unlike the way it is in male children. It is a covenant between we and God; or don't you like how neat, stylish and arrow pointed head your John Thomas is ?

There is no difference medically between circumcision penis and uncircumcised penis

God also said we should stone stubborn children to death, Dont you think there are some riducolous things God said, that we should ignore. I dont see anybody stoning their children?
If God had said females should be circumcised, so you would have supported it?

Wow, nice conclusion.. Jesus was mutilated, so we should as well all mutilate our children.
Bravo.
Maybe we should comfirm if mary was also mutilated, so we should have a legit reason to mutilate our girls.
Whats wrong is wrong, and anybody who supports mutilating boys but condemns mutilating girls is an IDiOT

I now know the reason Ngozi is not getting satisfied. Despite serious flogging I did during my NYSC.

She is circumcised

Its the same pain a boy feels when he is being mutilated and surprising enough its normal and okay to mutilate boys but not to mutilate girls

I am in support of this particular FGM, because;

1.) It prevents unpleasant odours which result from foul secretions beneath the prepuce.

2.) It reduces the incidence of urinary tract infections

3.) It reduces the incidence of infections of the reproductive system.

see what WHO has to say about it in the book on Traditions that affect the health of women and children, published in 1979;

"With regard to the type of female circumcision which involves removal of the prepuce of the clitoris, which is similar to male circumcision, no harmful health effects have been noted."

Good question
Ladycloud:
Educative .. So God made sex and the organs to help make sex interesting and then some people cut of those organs... Very Wicked act I must say.. The side effects are mostly during child birth.. How do they expect that lady to push a baby not less than 3kg out of the vagina..

Do you realise, both male and female genital mutilation serve the same purpose? To reduce the sexual sensitivity of the sexual organs.
Uncircumcised men have a much better and enjoyable sexual experience than circumcised men same with women

Things have since changed. You know that there can be complications, isn't it?. So why subject a human to a procedure that has no significant benefits with the possibility of complications?

Wish u know what men in foreskin go through, first is ulgly to look at the dick with the extra flesh at the head. Secondly it smell badly because they will always get something like cheese round the cap from soap foam and when they have sex he will have to wash is dick thoroughly because once the foreskin cover it , the odor is bad when he open it boxer. Only a good clean neat man can manage foreskin.

Without foreskin u can pee and just shake ur dick back to the boxer, when u shower u don't get cheese around the cap, when u have sex u can just use water to wash off ur sperm till u are ready to shower and u will still get the same pleasure from sex.

Its works for male and not female.

You realise if you decided to keep a beared, you would take care of it by washing it and combing it?
Its ugly to loon at because we have be programmed to see a circumcised dick as beautiful. In Islam, you are to wash your dick with water after urinating and its impure for you to just shake it and put it back in.
There is no medical reason to back up mutilating wrong boyz and 30% or circumcision fail leading to impotency in boys, why take the risk?
Female and male genital mutilation have the same purpose to reduce sexual pleasure. Why should women be allowed to enjoy sex more and men not allowed?

Any surgical procedure may have complications.
I will give a short list
1) excessive hemorrhage
- transmission of infections
- scar formation
- keloid formation
- stricture
- death

I listed this from a professional point of view. Of you still are not convinced, then so be it. Cheers

The double standard is appalling, if it's good for boys, then it's also good for girls... Personally I detest the way Americans criminalise the culture of female circumcision and in the same breathe argue in support of male circumcision. Makes no sense at all,

same way female circumcision can be dangerous is the same way male circumcision is also dangerous. I wish I can post some pictures on this thread and maybe we will all get enlightened
