Information reaching us had shown that the new Vice Chancellor (VC) of the of Jos Prof. Sebastian Seddi Maimako who has spent just 34days in office was viciously attacked by some unknown armed men along Eto'baba Road, Jos North L. G. A Plateau State.

The Attack which occurred at around 9pm resulted in the death of a Police Officer who is his aide, while other casualties remained unconfirmed as at the time of filling this report.

The unknown Gunmen, masked by the shadow of darkness as a result of a total black-out by the PHCN swiftly carried out their operations, before the security men where alerted they vanished into the tin air.

Sincerely, am not surprised since my uni- OAU kept the lives of over 30000 students on hold just because of their ambition for a particular position. I don't understand what this country is turning into, should we call this corruption? I believe until our leaders stop their infected attitudes, the evil ones and vipers in the society will hunt for them aimlessly.
God help him.

This filling of any top position has become a dead zone as perceive by the masses maybe because of the fear of being assassinated or thrown into trouble through dialobical means.

This man should watch his back, it's possible he is under attack from aggrieved loser who may have the backing of some strong politicians.

Remember Unijos is a federal school and the hustle is real.

Jos people were not violence before democracy, but now you can see the disadvantages of democracy, learn from Kaduna people.. no more crisis in kaduna because they realised how politicians are using their life for exchange to office
