I have always seriously pondered; while I was still a Bible thumpin Christian; on why the holy Spirit seems to dwell in pastors that do "worldy" acts.


I mean, Pastors who curl their hair; divorce their wives and take another. Pastors who abuse the rights of their Church Members and so on....


We are bombarded with cases where pastor rapes a little girl or slept with a church member almost every day and I can almost bet that each of these pastors had the "holy spirit" dwelling in them.





Yea, at the church near my house, I hear words like Holy Ghost FIREEEEE!!!! To consume my enemies and such and I think to myself......


Seriously?? If such fire existed, YOU would have been badly burnt because you're your own enemy.




However, many think not. Many prefer to think of the spirit as God's Incarnate and can perform a given number of tasks from stopping a bullet to finding a car key

Holy Spirit doesn't dwell on such ones you listed, even me sef wey dey charge like Christian onlime have time i know my Spirit is empty hence i draw closer to God by tracing my steps, they're sinful and the Holy Spirit can't dwell in them. We all Christians should have the Spirit of God, it's not a thing to bet about. But we don't if we don't abide in Him.

If a pastor freely sins then he's not having the spirit of God.

I have also prayed many times asking God to show me that he really exist even if it's in my dream if can't do it physically.

I keep wondering how you lot do it - the only explanation is that your belief have no idea of what love is.

God allows such incidents as this so we can read about them to instill the fear of God in us.

In the case of Ananais and Sapphira, the lesson to learn is faithfulness and the fear of God. Both couples lied. The wages of sin is death but we are only fortunate to enjoy God's grace being alive.

We should however not misuse God's grace by continue sinning.

Well Titus 1v16 says it all in just a clear language. How much more being a so called man of God. You should know the kingdom is more against false Christians than even unbelievers and the Bible makes us know theirs is more damning.

Am not seeking for God's power. Considering the kind of human beings that claim to be children of God by using fake powers and God is sitting down (if he exists)watching them .
If God wants me to believe in him, he can use a method that will be obvious to me that he existed .

I will urinate and you will tell me that it's God's doing. They said he is omnipotent (he can do all things) ..
Helping me to urinate successfully looks simple.

My over 9 years here tells me that if you were God you'd do worse.

You ban people for insulting with words as 'subtle' as "Id!ot", but promote obscenity and Pornography (that insult the mind and psychological makeup of a person) on your homepage.

While nothing much may be wrong with that, it clearly shows your preference. Insults don't get the traffic, obscenity and Pornography do! They are part of your main tools. They are vital in your money making course.

In the scripture you quoted, Peter and the early Christians setup a camp outside the city and wanted a common wealth everyone would have access to, no one richer than the other. The instruction was for everyone to submit every possession. Ananais and his wife went against that.

Remember, these were first generation Christians and they couldn't start off on the wrong foot.

About Peter and The couple, Peter was a useful tool in God's hands (same way you use obscenity and Pornography) to propel the gospel, while Ananais and his wife were used to caution others (same way you ban people for using 'subtle' insulting words). God forgave Peter and empowered him (same way you empower the O and P on your forum) and killed the couple (you delete or hide posts at your discretion).

Now, tell me Seun, are you not much like, if not worse, than the God you always condemn?
