Speaking at a forum organised by Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre, a public policy think-tank, in Abuja on Thursday, August 11, Dogara said those calling for his prosecution were doing so out of ignorance.

According to Dogara, the laws governing the National Assembly accorded all lawmakers a great degree of immunity from prosecution on the basis of exercising their legislative functions.

The question I want to ask about this budget padding is, did they alter the figure that the FG estimated for 2016 budget?

Did they remove items and insert their own? If that is so, then why did Buhari sign it?

I remember we were shown a picture here where "Buhari was reading through the budget before signing" and people were praising him.

So why did the FG or Buhari study and sign padded budget?

Again, if it's true that that N940m grazing fund was hidden in one of the articles in the budget by the executive, it means none of them should go to Equity.

I'm not supporting corruption, but if the only thing Buhari wants to achieve as a as a president is fight other (independent) Arms of govt, it's not in our interest.

For me, the ranting is too much, since the so-called Law makers don't access budget funds, why not wait and see how it will manifest.

Summarily, the entirety of this administration is corrupt, from head to tail.
