Even with all my imaginary brithplan, I've already sat dh down at 5months and lectured him on d need for CS before people will brainwash him with all those "your wife is not strong story" I told him to keep an open mind because anytin can happen. My MIL is so keen on relying on all those Iya Alagbo dat it's getting really annoying!

0-4months is a very critical stage of development of a baby. The vitamins you take that period plays a crucial role in baby's formation. If we lived in a perfect system , we would have gotten ALL the vitamins we need FROM our meals. But unfortunately we are not. Even the supposedly nutritious meals , they loose some nutritional value thro storage, cooking and preservation. Some vitamins are lost before we even eat them. Nutritional supplements like pregnacare and others ensure that our bodies and babies get the requirements it needs . So I would advise you to follow your Doctors instructions as it's in your best interest.

@raptor be encouraged, your story is one I am too familiar with. I am the child that was born after a damaged cervix. My mum had my brother at a birth weight of 4.7kg, after labouring actively for 4 days. She ended up with a c section and after that the drama started, she had 4 still births around the 6months mark. She's also thought she'll end up with just one kid, but God was just laughing at her. I can't wait till when you'll share your testimony. Am watching this space.

BritneyStacy, I await ur good news by weekend. God is preparing the delivery room for u and he wants to allow human devil nurse to be off duty so chill and relax. Same applicable to other mamas that suppose to have offloaded but still waiting.

Mama that asked about taking pregnacare, but advised by MIL not to take it, pls always follow your Dr's advice, he knows the reason why he prescribed it. Taking it will not take anything away from you rather u benefit a lot from it.

PART THREE
On my knees l cried to God . I told God you are alive and not asleep. The same God that gave me a son.He is able to give me more children. That this time I would carry to term.
A Year and three months after l took in again and meet a different gyne.  He started me on cyclogest and aspirin from day 1. Cerclage was done @ 12 weeks and l was on bedrest with leave of absence without pay. 
After the cerclage l was placed on ventolin along side with cyclogest and aspirin.  At 26weeks my BP was high 190/90. Was placed on Aldomet and nifedipine and the ventolin was stopped. Although sometimes I was scared but l had confident in God that this time l shall carry to term.
The Doc told me once l get to 32 weeks he will bring out the baby. At 30 weeks BP was ok but l was still placed on Aldomet and nifedipine.
After 32 weeks the Doc extended the cyclogest to 34 weeks but the aspirin was stopped.  At 34 weeks l stopped the cyclogest.
All this time I was on strict bed rest.
Immediately I stopped the cyclogest l started having mild contraction.
By 35 weeks 6 days the contraction was so strong l had to go to the hospital.  The Doc said it is time to bring my baby out as my BP is normal.

Cs was performed smoothly and my princess was brought out weighing 3.2kg.  I was just crying in theatre.  Thank God for making me a Mother again.

Raptor2, When i read touching stories like yours, i just go mute for hours trying to imagine the pain, the agonies, the distress you had to go through. I can't even fully imagine it.
Who would have guessed that you had gone through all these terrible ordeals? U still kept a positive spirit on the thread and remained hopeful.
