Long before beginning of the last presidential election campaign, these northern people attended every important Owambe party in Yoruba land. They knew then that Yoruba votes were very vital to unseat Jonathan.
Now with Yoruba VP, these north people know that SE/SS votes shall be vital to beat the Yoruba VP.

Only a few southern states is what any northern presidential candidate supported by most of north needs to win presidential election in today's Nigeria.

Nigeria was politicaly restructured by northern soldiers who wrongly used Land mass as criterion to create 20 new Federal units in once one northern region, but only 17 units in once two southern region.

A presidential candidate needs 25% votes from 24 of the 36 states to win. North created 19 states and Abuja for north.

It's no more easy to restructure this in a democracy.

Somebody tell Abdul salami that this part of the country they bombed to submission still stands tall. This is The Best hotel in Nnewi and easily among the top 5 in Anambra state but the road to the hotel is heavily unaccessible; since Willie was there at the commissionning, I pray he sees reasons to make the road accessible not just because of the hotel but also for the large population of people living in the area!
