When I mean academy I mean players from Pogbas class or beyond they must be older than 21 so what exactly is my business with Rashford?

Particular attention is beamed on class of 2010-2012. And so far it's been failure.

That's because Jose is weeding them away.

Rashford is a legit though. His performance for England already shows he's a talented player and if Mourinho hadn't come, he would have been the no 1 striker. I'm firmly of the opinion that he has more potential than Kane if developed the right way..

The likes of Varela, TFM, CBJ, Poole etc would have been fully involved this season if Van gaal had stayed.. Because they've all grown a year older and has had the little experience to back up their play due to their exposure last season.

Furthermore, all these aforementioned players get the basic right such as solid first touch, solid decision making when passing and good movement which is what impresses Van gaal the most.

Congratulations to C. Ronaldo.

He's actually getting more matured, if I may say

All this talk about youth team, aside the class of 91/92 which other class has really been a revelation even under sir? None! Top clubs in Europe experience this same luck like once in a few decade. Even barca has not been doing well in terms of using their youth product like they may want everyone to believe. Or is it Arsenal? Once in a while clubs do get lucky and that is it.

Fergie became a bit pragmatic in his latter years but then, he promoted the likes of Cleverley, Welbeck but sadly, he hardly gave young players a chance except they've gone on a seasonal loan such as the case of Cleverley, Welbeck et al. He kept depending on his old guards like Giggs, Scholes even when Pogba and Morrison were waiting on the line.

Personally, the main reason I started supporting Manutd despite my other brothers supporting other clubs was when I saw exciting young players such as Rooney, Ronaldo involved in the starting 11, I don't even think we won the title that season.

Although Fergie wasn't as bold as he used to be in promoting young players in his latter years, he did procure plenty of young players into the squad. Players like Nani, Rooney, Ronaldo, the Da silva twins, Nani, Anderson were all young at the time they came in.

Sir through out his time tried to get something from the youth team again but it never really worked. Scholes had to come back from retirement. Giggs couldn't retire because those guys were taking too much time to mature. Rooney was at his best so they were able to cover up for the lapses of those younger ones. Since those Cleverly Nani Welbeck et al left the club what has been their performance? Have they been wonderful? No. Ronaldo was a real talent, a perfect example of someone that gave his all to be the best. The rest had potentials and that was were it ended, potentials.
Mourinho will get youths but for now he needs to bring back that fear factor so teams don't believe they run at us and get away with it. Recently I was always shaking my head when watching us play. Almost every team believe that they could run at us at will and get away with it. It wasn't so back then. You can't just come out to play United any how. By the time Mourinho brings back that fear factor then we can introduce kids into the equation.

Where is ur UCL trophy??

I can show u 3 from my club. Chelsea ll show u one. Relegated Aston Villa will show u 1. Even Red Star Belgrade will show u 1.

Show us one from Arsenal. Even if it is half. But u cant. Ur club so useless and irrelevant that it cant produce one single UCL trophy?? The only thing it has to brag about is 19 yrs of attendance. I'm sure even Madrid/Barca dont ve up to 19 yrs of constant UCL. But we know who's boss between those two clubs and Arsenal.

Shout Europa from now till u die. U wont still have any relevance on this board just like ur useless club.

The point is we have a quality youth team this time around. This same youth team has won the u21 title for 3 consecutive season.

And the funny thing is their coach, Warren isn't the best quality around yet these players won these titles in spite of him because they are just too good for the reserves.

BTW, The last time they won it was when they had Pogba and Morrison.

Yeah but though they have that potential they won't put fear in the heart of opponents and that's what we need now. Opponents should play us looking behind their back and not committing men forward anyhow for fear of Zlatan, Pogba Mata Miktha etc. Only after we have this fear factor back can we think of featuring players from the youth team. If those guys don't develop they can't blame the club. Their hard work and mental preparation is what they need to advance not some coach or team.

Guy that class of 92 thing is a very rare sth. Even barca sef how many youth products have they put in their first team since the set of messi and busquets. Tello failed, Pedro was not good enough for their ambition, montoyo failed, bartra failed, minor is there but they're still looking for strikers, sergi samper is a fringe player and they still bought Andre Gomez.

Bayern don't have any recent Academy graduates, Madrid no.

The way I see it, we're the only club that is close to replicating that class of 92 at the moment. We just have to hope the youngsters can fulfill their potential.

For all the talk of how good Chelsea and Man City are at youth level we hardly see any of these players make an impact with the club.

Rashford knows he has a better shot @ the UCL trophy this season than actually joining Arsenal. One billion players has played in the UCL, how many fingers have touched the ultimate prize?

You better goan bring £45m & collect Phil Jones - that's if Jones won't mind a trophyless career henceforth. Once the window shuts, I pity Wenger this season.

Apart from Pogba, Morrison and Petrucci, hardly few were impressive in that set. Hence, it's no surprising only few were able to emerge.

And which Tabloid laud Poole as an average player?

Also, which Varela are you calling a flop? You mean one of our best player in the few minutes he played until his inexperience showed vs Liverpool?

Even though some has left/promoted (TFM, Rashford, Januzaj, Perreira, Keane, Wilson, Varela, CBJ), there are still the likes of Harrop, Goss, Demi, Kehinde, Willock, Riley, Gribbin, Tuazenbe, Poole, Chong, Shuan Williams who all has the talent to make it if Mourinho wills.

I keep hearing 'fear factor' which I don't get. If you're good enough, you would always beat the team in front of you.

I would actually say we had the fear factor last season by the way majority of the small team do pack a giant bus against us. We had no problem breaking down the top 10 teams because they were wide open against us as opposed to those small teams. All we just needed was a creative midfielder and quality pacey right winger to often break down the bus of this small team.

In fact, our young players were able to do that with the help of their pace and that was why we looked good going forward with Rashford in the striker role and with the likes of CBJ and Varela as fullbacks on the flanks even though their inexperience showed a bit.

I actually think the best thing we can offer them is to sell them off to other clubs if we can't develop them in the club rather than wasting their time on loan.

DDG was making more saves than every other keeper in top leagues every week and you say that's okay? You don't know what you are saying. But am not going to waste my time quoting or engaging you. Total waste of time. I asked someone to mention just one top team in Europe that has up to 3 starters from the youth team and I never heard from him again. If Poole or whatever his name is is good he will surely get his chance. No time for experiment now. We need United at the top and to remain there. We can't be comfortable with the also ran tag.

De Gea was making saves because Rojo and Darmain were rubbish on the flanks.

De Gea hardly made any saves vs Arsenal for example and the youth played in that particular game? Nor the City game...

As a matter of fact, we looked quality with the youth team except for the few times their inexperience showed.
And no one's clamouring for youths in every department. I wanted Kante and Mane to be signed for example and they are no youth players.

You left out Ibra who replaced Rashford in the starting lineup or the likes of CBj, Varela who had left while TFM has hardly seen any game time.

And who's running around like a headless chicken? You mean the best CM in the league last season? An integral part of Leicester winning team?
Kante is more of a CM than that box-box cum attacking midfielder wannabe we have though. A pity Chelsea keeps deploying him as a DM when he's at his best as a box-box.
