I must confess it is like we've the best backup players in the league; they can come in and bring a different dimension to the game. The challenge will be keeping them happy though.

I still don't support Fellaini to shield that our back four. Dude has tried, against wee teams, but is rash and just bullies players with no football sense/proper reading of the game/positioning. Lacks good forward passes and easily drawn away from his position. Hoping he doesn't get exposed in big games and cost us points.

Most people troll that kagawa guy here just to pass time really. Any intelligent person would know when he is being trolled and take a chill. Even elampiro knows when he's being trolled on the rooney matter but this dude is of a different class. Reeks of utter cluelessness. He would think he's in an argument when he is being made fun of and ridiculed...from watching ball under canopy now to assister of the asssist man. Nairaland and especially this thread is all there is to the dudes life. All his supposed friends and enemies exist here so it's no wonder he replies every quote or comment regarding him and his sh1tty posts like a customer call rep. He would spend the whole day to read and watch all the videos about the club just so he can display his "fantastic" football knowledge here and at the end of the day still fail badly at it. Imagine having all that time in the world and wasting it just to prove a point to faceless people you might never meet. cringe....The same time a lot of people here spend making money or even shagging their girlfriend while replying his post. That's how little his world is...begins and ends here! Take away this thread or nairaland and tomorrows front page news of a suicide wont surprise you.

I actually think the following reasons are the reasons for his strange posts and over all manic forum game:

1: He might be a high school kid or just some really young dude! Hence why he can never differentiate between friendly or hostile fire!

2: Gets a lot of his views on formations, tactics, player profiles etc from segas football manager (FM) and not from actual experience or knowledge gained by playing the game with friends or watching decades of soccer!

3: Probably uses player ratings from FIFA or Pro evolution games to determine the qualities of the player or what a player is capable of doing with the ball!

4: Visits a lot of soccer blogs and imports random balderdash from such sites in a bid to appear as some well versed guru in the game! Hence why dude is never able to give a straight answer when cornered but prefers to go on a tangent about some other topic that has no direct correlation with the present discourse!

5: Is not a "united fan" and has probably never set foot in an actual football stadium before (local or international) but has seen them a lot through his parents car windows as they drive past!

6: Probably single, a virgin or prefers sucking on male testes(explains the unwarranted attack on the female last week), hence the sexual frustration leads to the involuntary need for constant confrontation as opposed to actually busting a nut in order to feel orgasmic!

**expecting him to come and wail and gnash his teeth over this psyche evaluation in 1..2...3..**

I think I disagree. We are definitely going to drop points #fact. Fellaini has done well but winning is a collective effort. Knowing Mourinho, his midfielders wouldn't be far from defence against tougher teams.
Players will cost us points this season, whether Pogba DDG, Bailly or whatever we going to drop points. Anticipate it

You'll with more game time. What's working for him now is his strength. Until we meet better teams especially in Europe.

That position is a very important one. I prefer him being rash and bullying, which he may escape in EPL not Europe, while playing up the field not directly in front of our back 4.

We deserve better than Fellaini as our no. 4.

Concerning fellaini, I agree with you, I am still not comfortable with him in that DM position. But I must confess the guy has done a turn around. He was one of those videos felt would be kicked out but Mourinho used him and he actually impressed me with his performance thus far.

Like you pointed out in your last post he might not be able to get away with his thuggish play in Europe but the likes of Carrick and schneiderlin shudder be able to handle that.

We seem to be spoilt for options in various positions it's left for the players to actually take their chances when given the opportunity which will give Mourinho a big headache.

We deserve better than Fellaini as our no. 4.

His being rash and bully are usually done unnecessarily and as a 4 will cost us cheaply.

But I still commend him for a good job done so far.

I disagree too
I still think because fellani is tall and very physical is technical ability dey underrated and not without reason,he was not at his best under the last two manager,
while players like Herrera who are small, people overrate their passing skills.
as long as you keep an open mind Fellani go win you over small small.
na still two games but I think he can maintain this level of performance

I totally agree with Chrisley, Fellaini lacks football sense, all he does is pass to the player closest to him, bully players off the ball, use his height to his advantage, sometimes there to intercept

This is Fellaini, and like Chrisley said, we deserve more than fellaini as our no4

Yesterday's game cemented what I've been thinking.
Rashford is more intelligent than Martial!

Martial is all about drifting in from the left with his predictable but unstoppable dribbling, but Rashford is comfortable and devastating from everywhere on the pitch.

His involvement with the build up play will make you doubt he's 18.
This guy's football intelligence is at the highest level! shocked

Gbr1 once proclaimed he'll fail, but I think it's clear, this guy no be fluke, and it wouldn't shock me if he outshines Martial at last.

His story might just be like Messi's. Cementing a starting spot at a too young age.

Diademk07, what else do you want now that Rashford has played several minutes? cheesy

Don't allow martial's poor form now erase his brilliance of last season from your head

Did you watch martial against Southampton, Everton, liverpool, swansea, man city away, chelsea's ivanovic?

Yes, Martial was brilliant, but I'm saying Rashford's all round play just seems far more intelligent.
He almost never has a bad day from any position.

You just said he bully players off the ball, uses his height to his advantage, intercepts ball so what else does he have to do? Dribble one or two players? He hardly loses the ball or put defence in bad positions so what else do you want?

@Elxandre, Rashford has got better movement on the pitch while Martial likes to always have the ball to his feet. Another thing is how do you see a Rashford without/less pace/speed?

Still too early to give judgement I must say.

Bully players off the ball which amounts to a foul more often than not, "SOMETIMES" there to intercept, useless when going forward, you cannot use fellaini to start your attack from the back

Being a 4 requires intelligence not just force

From our last two games so far,it's just those unnecessary rash fouls in dangerous areas I don't like about Fellaini... It can cost us points against more quality teams.

Buh he's been great so far (as a limited player).

Fellaini does not give away the ball easily. Once he wins it he passes it to his team mate. Is that not good enough? He has Pogba (most expensive player in the world), Rooney, Mata, Martial, Miki and the full backs to give the ball to which he does yet we must complain. What does Busquets do in barca midfield other than to win the ball and release to the nearest man? Yet he is appreciated. Fellaini hardly gives away free kicks. In fact you guys should just keep a open mind. Am not saying he is the best but so far he has been one of our best players on the pitch. The least we can do is to appreciate him.

You didn't see Fellaini pining Western Union passes to Martial and Shaw yesterday? Or how he quashed most of the counter attacks too?

I agree he still has to improve on his positioning but he's getting better in several other areas in no small manner. Let's see him against the likes of City and Chelsea before we castigate him.

I personally do not like Fellaini's style of play but if he's key to Mourihno's plans and those plans continue to give us positive results, Afro-man should keep his place jare.

Have you seen what fernandinho does for man city? or thiago motta for PSG, To me blind is a better DM than fellaini, the only disadvantage is his height and small body
