biikeys: biikeys: I appreciate DAT. Lemme put anoda line to dis. Wat is her fate if she gets pregnant and delivers before her OPT expires in d states? I added dis cos, jokingly after they had d registry wedding in st Louis, our youngest prayer warrior broda (lastborn) prayed saying "lehin eyi omo alalubarika"- after this a good child will come. D reply she gave was shocking "not yet" and he curiously asked "y not yet". She said, having a baby needs planning and all sort of oyinbo thing like DAT. Lastborn had to call me immediately saying "egbon Mi, pls its urgent u call aunty so so and tell her she's not oyinbo o" I told him I don't understand wat he is saying n he explained. I was a litu bothered. Cos we expect a baby by d grace of God a year after wedding, so wats d "nonsense" she's saying. So now m having m having a feeling DAT she doesn't want to have a baby till she gets a resident visa. Won't having a baby give her an edge to fastrack her residence visa. biikeys: |

godG: It's another way book authors get money from students every semester. They sell the access code with book or separate. Access code is a set of numbers/alphabets that allows you to do quizzes, assignments and get additional features of the book online. It's for single user only. I still have an unused code for Human Anatomy & Physiology that worth $80 on amazon and one for Statistics. |

Mustghan: I have told you this before. This is not Nigeria, everything official here has no shortcuts and follows due process. Have you ever heard of illegal parents (husband and wife) with 5 citizen children before? Only the children can't be removed but the parents under US law are subjected to deportation if caught. Those kind of children are what Donald J. Trump called "anchor babies" in US. In his wildest dreams, he's trying to stop such "anchor babies" stuffs. Babies can only be used as part of evidence of bona fide marriage, it speeds nothing. They still have to strongly prove that they aren't using the babies for the purpose of circumventing immigration laws. Having babies actually requires planning. We've been married since 2014 and our plan is 2018 because both of us are still studying. So, don't pressurize your sis to start have babies when her legal status is still staggering. Like I told someone up there, to legally stay in US is frustrating after your purpose of coming is about to finish. Everyone passes/will pass through that stage at some point. 8 Likes |

ngobaby2264: Trust me with both your MCB transcript and waec result you can be admitted to study nursing but the main hurdles there is to convince the VO why going for another degree in Nursing and other questions the VO will ask you. |

She is presently in Connecticut but looking for how to get accommodation in Manhattan. I don't know much about New York. Any suggestion how to get cheap and safe accommodation. |

Walspring:I am a victim, yes I evaluated my transcript with my school accredited evaluation service SDR Evaluation. The evaluation report claimed i have 97 credit hour out of 120 and I have about 3 years undergrad towards Bachelors. Mind you, both ND and HND is strong Upper Credit I got to the school and admission office said I DO NOT have a bachelors degree, no amount of plea that HND is equivalent to Bsc oo, my dept transfer only few courses and insist that I take undergrad courses to complete Bsc. They said some courses I took indicates LD (lower division) category cos it was a 2 unit at my polytechnic school, while it is 3 unit here in US, I tried to prove stubborn, but time was not on my side as classes started few days after my arrival here. It seems it will take me up to 2 years or more to complete the undergrad level. The truth is it is stressful for HND grad to come here, they will rubbish all the 4 years of polytechnic stress, one of the staff that attended to me even wondered loudly how I got admission . My candid advice is either Hnd grad that intend to come for MS here first get a PGD in addition to his ND, HND transcripts plus GRE or just write only SAT exam straight and never mention higher institution at embassy. Anyways, a bachelors degree will be to my advantage here, I will be looking forward to scholarship and internship offers and even if my visa expire, I still dey school noni so it is easily renewable. |

MrMann1:How then did you get a grad admission in the first place? It sounds a bit confusing. If they evaluated your transcript to be 93 units then how the hell did they offer you grad admission or I didn't get the whole stuff clearly. Well my school accepts HND till date. You don't even have to evaluate your transcript. 2 Likes |
