The Rashes appeared on his face then spread to other parts of his body a few days after his birth. He's presently on ampiclox, Vit.c drops and Gentamicin ointment (Paed's prescription) and it's clearing off gradually.

Pls, how is the effective way to eat ugu in boosting pcv. Is it by extracting the water from the ugu leave or just cooking it. My pcv was 33% the last time I checked which was 2 weeks ago and the first time I checked my pcv, it was 35%

●And how long did you have to "manage" till they fit properly.

Extracting the juice retains most of what cooking will take off the ugu but if you choose to cook steaming is most preferred. Don't mix with milk calcium in milk inhibits the absorption of iron.

Another leaf to consider is Anara( garden egg) leaf! Just wash and chew it's a booster.

Nobody cares about how it hurts! Nothing like pain management!!! Even small babies are not spared in the name of circumcision!

Postpartum pain is real!!! That's why everythin shld be done to reduce pain during labor and delivery.

Even circumcision can be done without stressing the lil babies!!! O God! Save our country from this orientation!

I'm beginning to think the nurses are responsible for all these crude practises! Biko where are the doctor's? Are they not supposed to be the ones performing these procedures?

Honestly, my heart is heavy concerning all these avoidable extreme pains!

Thanks mama. I don't understand why these poor babies have to go through so much pain. I breastfed him immediately after the procedure and he slept off. When he woke, he cried like it was going out of fashion. I felt so helpless, I just kept putting him to breast. Then I gave him baby paracetamol and slathered the peepee with vaseline...eventually the crying tired him out and he slept off

2. She was 2.2kg at birth and they were discharged after a week (she was a little jaundiced)

3. Huggies UK or US (size 1)

4. They were too big for her

5. Don't know...her mom (my sister) didnt try to buy preemie size.

6. I'm not sure. ..maybe a month.

Don't stop this. It is perfect for his age. When he wakes in the night, you can even give him plenty water for him to go back to sleep.

Thanks Iomoge2, Liftedhands, Besea, Alphahandmaiden and others who chipped in. I redid the test in a lab today and it was 24. Meaning that the 10.4 was not accurate but still 24 is too low. BEcause i am scheduled to have a CS, the doctor told me that if i don't build up my blood i might have to have a blood transfusion.

I was initally on Fesolate which is one a day but it was making me stool so i took it haphardly. Now, i have been placed on another one that should be taken twice a day. I have cut out all other multivitamins and take just the precribed ones in case there is any other medicine that is inhibiting the absorbtion of iron. I am just tired of the whole thing.

I practically live on Ugwu and green okro these days. I will include the Anara leaves. God will give me the strenght to overcome it.
