If he was a teen sensation, am sure he would have made the Spanish squad to the Euro 2000. Am not saying he was not spotted to be a good player when he was young, he basically developed quietly and rose through the rank and file of Barcelona without media hype. He bloomed in the mid 2000's... Thiago Motta, Edmilson, Philip Cocu and lastly Deco where his boss.

Because Adu and Dos Santos will make the Spanish Euro 2000 squad. Adu as a kid was never close to Xavi. The class is too much, like Sanchez (Xavi) and Yaya Sam Loco (Adu).

Why would I be "pained"?? I'm talking about Mikel because he was also hyped up like this as "Okocha heir" and what not. Even though he has gone on to be successful, many are disappointed he didn't end up being on messi level or the best number 10 in the world like they expected.
Nacho is talented, we all know that. However he has had only one full season. It is too early to hype him up as you guys are. That is a fact.
