Well, adsense has been doing poorly in Nigeria for the last couple of months, but there are not a lot of options for bloggers who have decided to base their site on the Nigerian traffic.

The FX rate makes it hard or nearly impossible for Nigerian companies who used to work with Google to place high paying ads. In the face of this recession, virtually a lot of companies have abandoned adsense, until at least the recession gets better.

Another thing with most bloggers i see on here is that they barely put up original posts, but want to make money. I have to let you know, Google is a big company and they didn't get to where they are today by falling for tricks from small time bloggers like most on nairaland.

Adsense has rules and it took my blog over 3 years to get a stable adsense account, I have been blogging for 6 years and it's been pretty a bitter/sweet journey.

Bloggers can try this alternatives 1. Taboola 2. MGID 3. Media.net (If you get a lot of US/K traffic). All the best guys!

From wat I learnt, wen u read and understand the adsense rules and regulations and u follow it strictly, u can never be ban even if u earn 10k dollars dey will pay u, one thing most publishers dont know is that google tracks taffic using software, so if u cheat and ask someone to be clicking on ur AD or u buy traffic, google will deactivate ur account.

I believe they now accept Nigeria? Not sure but I think they now do. But use someone in the UK, or USA or buy an offshore address account. Will cost you as much as $1500 but you will be able to use paypal. And trust me, it will be worth it in the end.

Fire fox etc, it has really contributed to y people earn low income through Google ads. Have a Blog that Ranks Pretty Well in Google With Naija as the targeted traffic . . . .Have 2500 Page views Daily but The Most Painful/ Annoying Thing is that Google is only kind Enough to Give me Just $1 Daily.

The $1 dollar is even on their happy day o . . . Gets regular below $0.70 upon all that Traffic.

Also, dont tell me to add more Units cos I have so so many Units already on display Both Text ad and Display Ads still it doesnt help.

Someone Help me tell me how to Solve this, After all the hard work, I feel so Wasted!

Stop using text ads
Only use display ads
Don't place your ads on the bottom of your blog page, 90% of your blog readers don't scroll down to the bottom

I think Adsense has many strong rules that we should all be careful about. As a blogger I understand that it is disappointing that you work hard and you are being punished for no reason. However, there are many tricks that people are devising to cheat the system.

My Account was disabled 2days ago, very very annoying, Google Adsense disable account when they calculate the future of your earnings, I make 215$ in two (2) days, imagine how much I will make in a month. Adsense breaks heart pass girlfriend o

Please,do not show any "URL". As a lot of people wife copy all you did on that site thinking they would be replicating what you have on that blog. I did it once and it affected my income.

My advice: show only your income screenshot or video of you logging into your account.and keep the "URL" to yourself.
