Hello house,
I did medicals this week as part of my application for an Australian visa. Now, the same hospital I used for the Aussie medicals also does medicals for Canada too. Is it possible to use the Aussie medical report for the Canny PR runs since they both use the same e-medical platform?
Also, is a UK PCC dated January 2016 still usable now?
Thanks.

Thanks ooo...it has been a long and silent wait. I was not even expecting a draw today...'e be like film trick for my eye'.
I thank all the gurus in the house that answered so many and often repetitive questions. I personally did not ask a question, just read the thread from page 0 and followed instructions.. I also silently followed the Canadian visa thread on another site that is very extensive...
I hope scores go down further for people below the 470's.

Congrats dear Vcole.
vcole:
WOW!!!!
I just got ITA. I had no idea there was gonna be a draw today. Gosh! this feels so surreal. I only entered the pool last friday. WOW!!!

For other doctors and health professionals, I would try to give details of my process so far and I hope it would help give an idea of timelines if you need it.

So, finally decided to start the process for EE in June, 2016.
Set up my physicians apply account($278) on 18th June and commenced the SVR ($157) for my medical degree.
I sent the necessary copies (all notarized) of documents required by MCC (certified identity confirmation, medical degree, passport bio-data page, consent release form and marriage certificate) via DHL and they acknowledged receipt and uploaded to my account on 29th June.

However, I got a message at this point that the copy of my marriage certificate was cut off on one margin and so my medical degree was given an incomplete status until i sent a full copy to them. I had to send by courier again and I was so not happy about paying that DHL fee twice.

My medical degree was changed to an accepted status after they received and approved the new copy of my marriage certificate on July 21st. They sent it to ECFMG same day and ECFMG sent the verification request to my school on July 22nd.

My school received the request by September 8th (about 7 weeks after it was sent via regular post) and I paid for the reply to be sent via courier on September 14th. It was delivered to ECFMG on September 21st.
ECFMG returned my verification: passed to MCC on Oct 7th. (it took about 11 working days as opposed to 20 as advised on their site).
I paid for my ECA ($102) same day and courier fee to Nigeria ($140).
I received an email on Oct 14th from MCC notifying me that my ECA was ready. (it was issued on OCt 11th. so it took 3 working days as opposed to 21 working days as advised on the site). I received my ECA via courier today.

I created my EE profile on Oct 14th with CRS of 482 (claiming 10 points for my spouse's degree and 18 points for his IELTS).

ITA received today. Now, time to prep all documents.

Congrats to everyone who received an ITA with this recent draw and all the best to everyone still awaiting an invite, it will surely happen soon.

I have pof questions myself. Opened an account for EE savings earlier this year and that account won't be 6 months old until Dec 29th which is past the deadline for submitting an app for this ITA. I am considering 2 options.
Option 1. Wait till December to print out the statement and then write a letter of explanation as to why the account is a couple of days shy of being 6 months old.
Option 2. Transfer the funds into another bank account of mine and write a letter of explanation as to where the source of funds came from and why I had to move them.
I would appreciate all of your thoughts as regards this. Thanks.

To answer your question I seek some clarifications:
1. Is this your salary account?
2. Where did the fund you deposited into the account come from?

However, I think option 1 is the better option. If you transfer the money to another account, you will have to provide bank statements for the 2 accounts as you are expected to provide details of all your accounts.

1. No, it is a joint savings account. We had not decided who was going to be PA so we opened a joint account just to be safe.
2. Funds deposited came from my salary account and other savings account as well as my husband's account.[

Yes, I can provide all bank statements showing movement of funds for the joint , my salary, his account. It would be a lot of bank statements but they are readily available.

It is indeed true. I can't count the number of times I have posted link for CRS calculator. I am sure more people will still ask questions that require that. People should take their time to read before posting their questions. It can be frustrating when you see someone asking the same question that was answered just a page away.

You don't need to provide your husband's bank statement. You just require a letter of explanation from your husband. You can send me a PM and I will send you a sample of the letter written by my husband to indicate that he transferred funds to my account.

You will however need to provide either letters or bank statements for all your bank accounts that you transferred money from. You will also need a comprehensive letter to explain the movement of funds between the account. What I did in my situation is to number all my POF documents, then I created a table of contents that itemised all the info I included in the POF. I did not have to submit bank statements though as I got the letter required by IRCC from my bank. I can send you a sample of my POF if you want that too.

Hello house.

Kindly help me out. I want to apply for EE and am just wondering if it is necessary for me to do both BSc and MSc transcript evaluation or I should just do one. My BSc is related to the my current work and intended nominated occupation list while my MSc is far-related

2. Must my nominated occupation list be the same with the evaluated transcript?

3. Is it a must for my wife to do BSc and MSc transcript evaluation aside IELTS?

Thanks

Just read this. It's a win win situation. You should get a decision on your PR app before this current ITA even expires.
