I even thought you had a point.
Biofuel can be made with anything, including leaves.
So, if a guy you know makes one, make another person no make? Mtchew.

Proudly reply the Aba made stove. Choke on that

Nigeria doesn't have the technology to produce biogas in commercial quantity. That make that exhibition childish and stupid

From the fact it's not made in Nigeria to the fact it's not made in commercial quantity, I give up.
Is there no remedy for what we can't make in commercial quantum? Is that not what the Kalu admitted to in the article, the fact that production is limited by manual methods?

Forget manual methods, even Japan can't boost of 90% conversion rate of biofuel.

That's a profile of a Japanese man, he has worked on biofuel for over 30 years, he is currently working for Mitsubishi, and with low success.

Kalu or whatever should stop lying

Believe what you like, it was not made in Nigeria. Let me help your backward thinking.

If that thing was made in Aba while would all the samples come in top notch packaging and non came in 10 liter or 5 liter gallons.

You were given a brain for use. You can assume it to be nairaland if using it in the form it is now is too hard.

Aba is like the China of Nigeria.According to information shared on social media by Eastern Telegraph,a made in Aba bio fuel is currently in the market. The stove obtains its fuel from cassava leaf.Below is what Eastern Telegraph shared....

'A smart bio fuel stove, fabricated in the commercial city of Aba in South East Nigeria has made a rousing market entrance.

The chairman of the Agricultural Innovation Platform, Kalu Ichie Kalu who spoke at the Innovation Platform Workshop in Keffi on Thursday, October 20, 2016, which was organised by the Agricultural Transformation Support Programme, phase one (ATASP-1) under the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development described the product as "an credible alternative to kerosene, firewood and gas."

"It's clean energy. One of the innovation in the stove is that 100% of the raw materials are locally-sourced, while the fuel is made from cassava leaf. The price of the stove is N5, 500, while a litre of the fuel is N200. A litre of the fuel burns for 6 hours."

The challenge is that production is still manual, so they will need "support to mechanise our production processes and produce like 25,000 litres per day" Uche said'

I was expecting to see how it works from all these write ups. May be its still secret however, if the business must grow, another brain must support.

If the demand is there, the 25000 litres per day is still too small. We have the potential and population to consume.

Congratulations nwa Aba.

A Step forward.. Sooner than Later we'll get there..

Hardwork and determination leads to success.

I don't understand what our problem in this Clime is, you make a product without good finishing, you get criticised for not doing a good finished work, you do a well packaged finished product people still come and say Nigeria has not gotten to that level and for that it's not from Nigeria..

What do we really want?

Nonsense, this is from Europe. Its biofuel, no such technology in Nigeria.
From biomass to biofuel to catalytic upgrading of the biofuel.

I have detailed of Mistibushi research with many Asian research institutes.

With all the detailed research you've made what have you Copied from the Westerners, not to talk of Inventing.. ?

Honestly, I have done a lot for myself for my age, in my career. Not many could boost of what I have achieved.

Google "recent development in Gastropods shells as methods of developing antacids". If you need authors copy, I can also send it.

My current work is very interesting. Give me your email, I'll send you my paper once its ready.

Industries rely on research to improve the qualities of their product and to maximize profits. I am a chemist and I am enjoying my career. It has been God.

Bros I hate nothing expect mediocrity and taking others for a ride. I used that stove and liquid over 3 years ago at portharcourt. Just imagine me reading that rubbish after 3 years of using different versions of that stove and gas.

Now that is y the black man never move forward. The enjoy and celebrate rotatory achievement.

That is no achievement at all. It is an insult to our collective sensibility. I see people celebrating toy cars made by Nigerians I shudder, what non sense country is this.

No principle

Everything is all about tribe and money.

No legacy

No patriotism
hmm. Much as I wouldn't disprove your claim of using a stove which works in the same principle as this, I would however appraise that the stove you used isn't the same with this one. The blue flame here is so visible even to the blind. This is definitely going to give gas cookers/cylinders a run for their money. Choices will vary based on affordability, durability and the one that is less hazardous.

Cassava leaf? chaai. What do Igbos gain from lying for christ sake
Is this not the popular Kike Green stove that is all over West Africa from Abidjan to Lagos?

The KIKE Green Cook stove has been successfully tested in households of all income levels in Kumasi and Accra's capital city, Ghana and widely used in Nigeria. It has undergone trials in Brazil, South Africa and Kenya. It has been introduced by the Nigerian Alliance for Clean Cook Stoves and adopted by many Governments as the preferred stove in over 10 states in Nigeria and has been tested in others. The KIKE Green Cook has now logged two million stove-use-days with an unparalleled safety and performance record. KIKE Green Cook Stove is the chosen stove for West African Women Association of ECOWAS (WAWA) and have been endorsed by UNDP and Bank of Industry (BOI) under the Access to Renewable Energy Facility Project.

This stove runs on A product called Biogel , and not some silly Cassava leaves
The biogel is poured into the cannister in the stove, and the stove then runs on it

Some day, we shall overcome all the obstacles of hate, tribe, religion, politics and live as brothers.

This is raw innovativeness. It doesn't work for those who are full of blame and hatred.

Your tribe are the greatest haters and blames everyone else except yourselves. stop associating ibos with hate.
