1. Not really a problem but it depends on the city you are visiting in the U.K.

2. Any, whether in the form or cover letter.

Do a break down of the trip first then you will know whether 2 and half will afford you a trip to the U.K during Christmas period.

Thanks for your prompt response @Justwise, I intend to travel in January that's why I'm applying in December as to give enough time for visa processing.

I see Kenya Airways for £479
Hotel £228 for a week
Feeding £150 for a week
Transport: £50
Sightseeing and shopping €400

Total: £1,307 that's N502,909 Oanda exchange rate.

Please correct my breakdown if im wrong.

Thanks as always sir

This is what i saw, you need to be specific about the location of that hotel because they have branches in many areas in London

I'm sorry to inform you that all naira master cards whether credit or debit have been suspended from payment of all online intentional transactions. Not only Gtb but its now all banks. In the last 2 weeks Gtb has been reducing their master card daily and monthly limits and now they have all suspended it.

Thank you for this info, I later got a mail from them late yesterday confirming that fact.

But what alternative is there to pay this visa fee now?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by sparklerii: 3:20pm On Oct 21, 2016
Good day all!!!!I had to get a friend of mine in Uk to use his master card, while i paid the equivalent into his naira account!!

Hi...

Please I'm having the same problem here now, even I just tried five different others GTB MasterCards, still the same thing.

Sorry to ask, but have you gotten to pay it? How.[/quote]

Hi All, Please i have a question. I intend travelling with my husband and baby to London in Dec. Even though I own a training company that was registered last year, I just began training this month due to childbirth and just started getting income from it. I also used part of my savings to get a car and became an uber partner this month with income going into my business account. I included all these in my appl. However I am putting my husband as the sponsor as I do not curently have much in my account. My questions are:
1) Do i include my business statement of account showing these recent incomes despite not being up to 6months?
2) There is a part where they asked how much the trip will cost, do i put our entire budget and put the same amount in how much my husband will be adding as sponsor, OR do i put 0
3) In a section, it is asked how much we spend monthly. We already put the total amount in my husband's application. Do i put the total in mine too or just how much i spend personally like for hairdo etc
Thanks in anticipation

Your feeding for that period of one week should take £50 and transportation takes £150, Transportation is expensive compare to feeding, food is the relatively cheap

It all depends on your account balance, some spend more than that, some less than that, but if your account balance is not solid enough, earmarking £400 for shopping will sound outrageous and look unrealistic

1. Yes you can

2. Yes there is a space in the form for all that info and many more

3. Can your hubby afford to sponsor the trip without your financial input?

@justwise....big thanks for your response. However i guess i did not phrase my question well.....my husband and I are applying to travel with our baby (american). My husband is the sponsor and yes he can afford to sponsor the trip without my financial input. We put the total budget in his application already. On my application, i am also being asked what the trip will cost me....do i still put the total figure or put 0 since my husband is the sponsor and the figure is already inhis application.
If i put the total figure, do i put that total figure also in the part that says how much willmy sponsor be contributing towards the trip?
Also, we put our monthly expenses already in my husband's application since he is the bread winner. However since this same question is asked on my application also, do i still put the same figure (wont it appear as though we spend the addition of both figures) or do i just put a small amount that caters for my own little personal needs?
Thanks alot

Since your husband is sponsoring the trip ;
How much is the cost of trip to you personally : 0

Anyone else sponsoring the trip and with how much : input your total budget figure

How much do you spend each month on living expenses ; Input a small amount, what you spend on yourself each month

How much do you contribute to others, family bla bla : 0

Total money you have for the trip : input your total budget figure

Write a letter to explain that you are an unemployed housewife and that your husband is sponsoring the trip with XYZ amount(same figure you mentioned in question" anyone else sponsoring your trip and how much" ), also add that each month your husband gives you XYZ amount for house keeping .

It does not matter if it is a Guest house, hotel or short stay apartments, the most important thing is to get a VERIFIABLE booking confirmation, just in case the High Commission chooses to verify

Hi everyone I really need ur help, I intend applying for UK visit visa

I intend using my salary account, apart from my salary no money enters that account. My monthly salary after tax which is paid into my account is £600, on the average I withdraw £300 every month for my living cost which means i save the remaining £300.

I intend applying in November therefore I have printed my bank statement from May to October this year and my account balance is £6000, I have been employed for three years now.

I want to know if it ok cos a friend of my was refused because Eco thought his closing balance was more than 4 times monthly salary and I didn't understand coz we only print statement for six months

Also I a first time applicant and I'm attending a seminar which I have invitation letter for that. I have an uncle der who will accommodate me in the UK but I'm sponsoring my trip in terms of plane tickets to and fro and miscellaneous

I intend spending £544 on plane tickets and £200 as miscellaneous since I'm only going for a week

I will submit my leave letter, appointment letter, pay slips and my bank statement

In the finance section of the application form there is a portion that ask how much of ur salary goes to dependent or family, i spend £50 on bus fees for my 15 year old brother every month nd I intend stating that, the only proof I have of the is the receipts I'm given anytime I pay, can that also serve as source of tie? Pls need help I used £ and not N because I'm in Ghana

Why did you not print from April ?

Why did you not print from April ?

Because I intend submitting my application latest by second week of November I calculated 6 months from October backwards. I haven't submitted so if it's better for me to print from April I can do so. Also I'm a youth president at my church as well as organizing secretary, I was awarded citation certificates for that and I want to know if I can also add an introductory letter from my pastor, the certificates as well as event memos which show I'm on programs this December as a source of tie to my country?

It doesn't work that way, what you have now is 5months bank statement even if you submit your application next year.
