Interesting...... I'll need to undertake a journey back home cus of this information. Some of those gray men do house important information to give before they cave in/translate. We need those first-hand information for the sake of posterity.
The information is not sufficient for you to undertake a journey back home! Ask more questions here first before you go o! cool

There are Indigenous Igbos in every SS states. Something haters have been struggling to hide from us. The destruction of SS is in effect the destruction of Igbos.

If SE Igbo think that the SS should be left to their fate in the hands of the murderous Almajiris and their muslim Amala-swallowing lackeys who keeps shouting 'attache by for force' when Emeka from SE unites with Ifeanyi from SS. Then they should also get ready for the destruction of the entire Old East (SESS).

Yea, this is exactly why we keep saying SS/SE. Not because of Ijaws/Isokos/Urhobos/Itsekiris/Edos that often get the media hype whenever SS/Niger delta is mentioned and had since taken SS to mean their portion only, but because we know and are well informed that there are still many fragments of Igbo speaking people scattered all over the 6 SS states, and we are not going to leave even one of them alone for any one of those groups that now claim
the term SS as their customized property to claim, without a referendum to determine the stand of the majority of our people there.

We will keep screaming SE/SS and might soon add, NC to it, to accommodate those of us in Benue state. The bitter souls can continue shouting "Attachee by force", we don't care.

Nigeria is a country that thrives on lies and stupid fabricated propaganda. Ever wonder why the country is in perpetual retrogression.

My brother, this is why some of us have made it a lifelong duty to reset the brains of those divisive vermins.
Before now, this thread would have been swarmed by those pro-fulani urchins but the presence of people like us here have made it difficult for their foolery to foster. From my experience, most south south Igbos deniers are politically motivated. Its Nigerian politics. But this Isobo people seems to be unique and noble in their approach to life.

Thanks bro.
But this accolade belongs to Osita Mordi. He was the one that discovered and wrote about these Isobo people in "Proudly Anioma, proudly Igbo" facebook page.
I merely re posted his articles here.

What that young man has done for Igbo unity, not one single of our so called political leaders and traditional rulers have done a quarter of it.
I'm not one to dwell on praise or Worship of individuals, but Osita Mordi deserves commendation and even an award for the beautiful work he has been doing on challenging false historical records of Ndiigbo and presenting us with evidence backed better versions aimed at uniting us all,

His works so far have been in form of articles, but I'm
Hoping that with time, he will compile all of them together to be published.

I 'll advise you to avoid stupid gratuitous corrections. Somethings are just commonsense in this day and age of smartphone auto word correction. I had commented 3 times already on in this thread, with specifics about this people, how in the hell will I not know it's Isobo again? If you are smart, you would assume it was a smartphone generated error...one types "Isobo", smartphone automatically changes it to "Isoko" based on my conversation history on Isoko threads without one paying a great deal of attention since this an informal conversation platform. I have had a white coworker in the past insult an African for this unnecessary, asinine correction. Never you do this again...

Transient economic/ political gains are the main driving force for Igbo denial.

The nobility of the Isobos astonished me. These are people who had suffered defeats after defeats at the hands of their Adun and Legbo neighbors who united to drive them into their current locations in pre colonial days , having driven them off their previous location, only for the intended siege on them to coincide with coming of the British who put a halt on all war activities in the area and negotiated Peace for Isobo people.

Yet these people remain noble. Look at the in-depth knowledge of how the Igbo nation works that the "Isobo community" Guy presented to you. He knew all the sub clans that exists in Igboland and the differences amongst them. He could have simply thrown away that knowledge and judge the whole SE as a monolithic region while he goes on to elaborate on the differences between Isobo and the "Monolithic" Igboland he had dubiously created, like the intellectuals from the "we no be Ibo people" shamelessly do.

God bless the Isobo land and people.

Abi people don't speak Igbo. Their language is Ekoid.
They like being affiliated with us, but their language is not Igboid.
They are to us,what Ogbia is to Ijaws.

Isobo on the other hand, are Igbo speaking people.

Abi people dont't have a unique language. There are predominantly two ethnic groups in Abi with no cultural affinity or semblance separated by the river; the Bahumonos and Agbos.

I keep learning something new. I had two people tell me this before and i argued against it. My best friend especially once told me there are igbo community in CR but I never believed him. I thought for sure he was lying and lo behold, he was indeed telling the truth.
He equally told me there are igbo indigienous in Akwa ibom as well but since, he couldn't name there village so I doubted him. Well I'm going to assume, he was right for both.
A life lesson to me is never doubt others especially someone from the state in question.

I served in Obubra in ogada 1 which is the heart of Obubra LGA in 2010. I can't authoritatively say that they are indigenous igbos in most cross river LGA that shares boundary with ebonyi. I did voters registration then in 2011 as a corper, so i came accross many igbo names. Back then, I use to cross the river cross to ebonyi state, but then they are indigenous efik or mbembe people in ebonyi state too. I know of ofraekpe in ikwo LGA. That's why sometimes I just shake my head when I see Igbo's discriminating among themselves cos believe me, all Igbo dialect are very important and non is superior to the other. Igbo is very large
