Christians give thanks in all situations or we are mandated to because it is the will of God. You get a contract, thank God, you don't, still thank God. Food dey? thank God. Food no dey? Thank God. I don't know why people are born blind or deformed or die even as infants from auto-immune diseases and I'm sure you don't know as well but time and opportunity are given to us all. I admit humans are hypocrites. Many humans are irregardless of their worldviews. However you know the kind of example Christ was. Christ is our standard. The fallibility of christians does not take away the validity of the good news of Christ.
