I've driven in Benin...believe me...Ibadan is much more terrible. Even Pastor Adeboye, Kumuyi, Oyedepo...can't drive for 24 hours in Ibadan without exchanging abusive words with other road users. ....there's hardly a day you'd drive out without having a new scratch/dent on your car.

was driving along Ikorodu expressway once leaving Ikorodu at a moderate speed on the outer lane and all of a sudden a car turned from the inner lane to the opposite lane without trafficating.

I slammed my brakes hard that the tires squealed till I stopped just shy of hitting that car alongside.


I wound down my window and was like...... "Madam, what are you.... " she suddenly replied me " Shut up!!! you're stupid!!! fool!!!.... ".

I was in shock at her reaction and ignorance..... I just kept quiet and waved her on.

Nothing annoys me more than people crossing the 'highway' and catwalking(portharcourt pedestrians na their work), am 105kg but whenever i cross the road i run like Usian Bolt so imagine my annoyance when i see a slim person strolling across the road when am driving on high speed.........

I think I find yoruba(lagos especially) drivers more amusing in this aspect. Riding with a friend when last I was in gidi and someone parked in front of us on d road in agungi for over a minute. She kept saying "**** (in yoruba can't remember).... Baba ee" it always ended with "Baba ee". So when we passed I asked her what she was telling the driver, she said she wasn't talking to him, in her words "I don't blame him, it's his father and ancestors, if they had given him brain he won't act lyk dis; so it's them I was addressing"
