Please help.

I am hoping someone can help me understand Tecno or at least tell me what to do. I got a Droipad 8 around April (from Slot) and it was a really good tab. I loved the fact that it had a wide screen, it has a huge battery capacitance (5,000mah) and it took just about 90 minutes to charge from 0-100% and I thought I had found a device that could do all I wanted and it did until a night in August.

I plugged the tab and was using it when suddenly, it went off. I did everything I knew to try to put it on to no avail. All through the night, it was off until the next morning when I plugged it and saw that it was charging, I thought it was just something I missed only to discovered that the tab did not speed charge anymore.

I took it to thr nearest Slot store as the phone was under Warranty and they said they will have to return it to technology and it will take a month. I could not afford to hand it over then as I will need a replacement so I continued using it even though charging it was hell until end of September when it stopped charging completely and went off.

I took it to Slot to send to Tecno and bought another one. This was early October.

Fast foward to yesterday, the new tab stopped charging too. This time, no speed charge and even normal charge is hell as the tab discharges faster than it charges and the old one according to Slot is not ready yet.

Please what can I do?

My wife's Camon C8 is also having same issue. Bought also from Slot. This is the third time they are working on it. A phone that is barely 1 year

You will need to check the voltage of electricity you use at your area, because two different phone can't have the same faulty at different occasion.

The fact is, if you get another phone the same problem will still persist, and if you can go to Tecno Carl care in person it will be better

I have been using Tecno Droipad 8 for over 5 months now and I have not experienced any problem. If you really bought the phone at any of the Slot offices, I don't know why you should come here to complain when you can actually give them back the phone and change it with another or you can take it to them to work on the phone since Slot has repairs section. I don't understand how you could buy same Droipad 8 when the one you have been using for a while has been faulty - who does that?, especially when you know you could easily change it for another with your receipt. The best you can do is to return it and get another one from Slot if actually, that's where you bought it. Your story doesn't pan out well.

asides having a good device, users need to have great device awareness. theres a possibility that the charger could be the cause of the slow charging. too bad the op wasnt aware of that. if the neck of ur charger is consistently bent while in use, it will one day develop fault and slow.down your charging speed.

Why do you always do this? Its immature and annoying angry when you read a post of someone who couldn't speak or write English, you will know by the overall composition of the text, but when you see isolated spelling error like ut, pkugged etc as in Op's case, you should know that it was not that he/ she couldn't write or spell, but typing error angry sad.
This was the same thing you did to one of my post, pointing out unnecessary corrections. Grow up Mr Man,pointing out silly errors doesn't mean you are educated. Education goes beyond that, please stop this annoying attitude. There are better things you could do with your life, than this.Thank You.

I don't know what u are talking about here oooo. I have been using my droidpad for a year now I can't even find one single fault in the device at all, am satisfied with the fone totally.
maybe it was over charged or something. most people let their fone drains out to 0% before charging they start using it again when its just 5% charging....

Perfect answer, in addition it might have to with the wiring of the house ,thats electricity for you, the slightest error might not look visible or negligible but can cause major damage to certain equipments. Mynd44

You need to buy a new charger. Buy a good charger that is a min of 2.0A.

Most very fast chargers don't last and drop in charging rate. I have 2 chargers that lost their charging speed, one is tecno the other Samsung.
