Where did you get this from? From the bible or one of your fantacy dreams

Yeah you would have to explain why they killed Atheist also..

I've noticed that you say a lot of ignorance . And your rebuttals are very poor .

You first called David a mythical character , I provided evidence that he actually existed . And now you described the Exodus story as "one of my fantasy dreams " . You keep shifting the goalposts every damn time . Do you want proof the Exodus story is true

Judas' role was completely unnecessary. Jesus could just have just submitted himself to the pharisees if he wanted to die, yet he was hiding.

King Solomon. That guy is badass. He enjoyed himself to the fullest. After that he called earthly desires vanity. But later came back to God at the last hour to ensure his place in heaven is well secured.
Perfect timing!

Do I really need to say more about him? His name alone speaks thousands for him.

Christ was vacillating

Matthew 26 : 38-39
Then He said to them, “My soul is consumed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with Me.” 39Going a little farther, He fell facedown and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.”

Judas was like the enforcer grin

My favourite Bible villain would be... lemme see, Ahab and his wife Jezebel. They both remind me of Quintus and his wife Lucretia in Spartacus.

@ Seun

Those bad guys didn't really know Jesus . Take a look this :

Matthew 26:48-50
48 Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The one I kiss is the man; arrest him.”

49 Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed him.

50 Jesus replied, “Do what you came for, friend.

There's no point for vacillation, after all it is the main reason why he took human form, isn't it?

Judas was like the enforcer grin

Like Seun said and as i have hinted above, the mission is clear; no time doubting. No need for an enforcer, after all it was time. I guess his role was meant to fulfill another prophecy, isn't it? grin

He had foreseen what would befall him and he was in human form , do you think as a human he would willingly want to get beaten , mortified and crucified like a common thief . How far na undecided

Man, I opened this thread just to discuss bad guyz from the bible. I never knew non-christian will make a meal of it. It wasn't my intention to mock anyone.
Don't you sometimes feel some liking for the villian in some movie? Just like how some love the character of Joffrey and Ramsay in Game Of Thrones.

Verily there's nothing to be scared of after all he was prepared for it hence the reason why he took it upon himself. If he had foreseen it, then he had no need to be sweating profusely on what he was prepared for. And to even think that he was the son of God. undecided

Isaac according to the Bible was going to be slaughtered by his father, yet he wasn't sweating profusely because of that. He didn't even ask God to turn it away from him despite the fact the he wasn't prepared for such thing in life. See the difference now undecided

Of course YES, in as much as it's for just cause. And this is even more that just cause as it has been in the plan of God for many years, isn't it? Jesus was aware this was going to happen before his existence, isn't it? How come when it was time he was aggrieved and doing as if he wasn't aware of all these?

This points to only one thing: that he's not really ready or perhaps not aware it was going to happen.. Take the case of Abraham and Isaac again.

I'm not just interested in that your thread as most people won't be able to read the discussion. More like it's your house where only you and i and the few that you are having discussion with will be able to see. But i really want more people to have a day here as well.

And i don't think we are derailing as the thread doesn't really have a base

nobody is mocking the bible or making a meal out of your thread. Everything and or villian mentioned here and what they do are all mentioned in the bible. We've simply picked our favourite villians as you asked. There's no need to display any persecution complex here

Ummm bro

I dont think you know the story of Abraham and Isaac too well

Genesis 22:8
8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.

The bible was silent about Isaac's reaction . So your analogy is kind of conjectural . It was very much possible that Isaac would have cried bitterly and begged while his father also cried and begged too before Isaac accepted with the understanding that it was a command from God .

My favourite villain in the bible is King Nebuchadnezzar. He was the Ruler of Babylon in the Biblical Times and one of the most evil leaders of all time. He was an idol worshipper. He even took over every other kingdom of the time. He took the citizens of those countries as slaves and killed many others, including leaders. He was best known for building a golden image of himself and throwing the three Hebrew boys Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendego into the fiery furnace. However, they did not burn and Nebuchadnezzar had commented that he saw four men walking in the flames and one looked like a son of God (in fact, that one was an angel of God). He then made a decree that stated that eveyone must worship and obey the Hebrew boys' God. In Daniel 4, it describes how he took credit for something that belonged to God, and was driven to a feral state. He then acknowledged the God of Heaven, and now worshipped Him and turned good... Awwwwwwwww.
