Nah, I am fine.

Just a little stressed and sick. But I am okay, alhamdulliah

Thanks for asking. That was very considerate.

Quran 6:32

And the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion; but the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah , so will you not reason?

“There is no obedience if it involves sin, rather obedience is with regard to that which is good and proper.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 7257; Muslim, 1840.

Allah, the Exalted, said (interpretation of meaning): {Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do. } [Quran 16: 97]

The reminder for me today would be just being grateful.

Really, just looking back on some things and I can't help but be thankful and grateful to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala for everything really. I am thankful for the past, I am thankful for the present and where I stand, and I am thankful and hopeful about the future. I know that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will give me the best. Whatever happens to a believer is good and Allah is to his slave what his slave thinks of him.

The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for his affairs are all good, and this applies to no one but the believer. If something good happens to him, he is thankful for it and that is good for him. If something bad happens to him, he bears it with patience and that is good for him.” (Narrated by Muslim, 2999)

The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Allah the Most High said, ‘I am as My servant thinks (expects) I am. I am with him when he mentions Me. If he mentions Me to himself, I mention him to Myself; and if he mentions Me in an assembly, I mention him in an assembly greater than it. If he draws near to Me a hand’s length, I draw near to him an arm’s length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed.’”[Sahih Al-Bukhari] Ahmad (16059) narrated with a saheeh isnaad: “I am as My slave thinks I am, so let him think of Me as he wishes.”

There have been times when I've been in situations where it felt like the world turned against me. Yet, Allah saved and removed me from those situations and made it easy for me. I can't help but think..... which of the favors of your lord would you deny?

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

Been feeling sad for no reason.. but really the heart find rest in the remembrance of Allah

الحمد لله على كل شيء

Volume 9, Book 93, Number 578:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "There are angels coming to you in succession at night, and others during the day, and they all gather at the time of 'Asr and Fajr prayers. Then the angels who have stayed with you overnight ascend (to the heaven) and He (Allah) asks them though He perfectly knows their af- fairs. 'In what state have you left my slaves?' They say, 'When we left them, they were praying and when we came to them they were praying.' "

Re: What Have You Done To Improve Today?|Daily Reminders by Nobody: 9:33am On Dec 06, 2016
Surah al-Gashiyah

"Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]?

[Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled,

Working [hard] and exhausted.

They will [enter to] burn in an intensely hot Fire.

They will be given drink from a boiling spring.

For them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plant

Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger.

[Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure.

With their effort [they are] satisfied

In an elevated garden,

Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech.

Within it is a flowing spring.

Within it are couches raised high

And cups put in place

And cushions lined up

And carpets spread around.

Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created?

And at the sky - how it is raised?

And at the mountains - how they are erected?

And at the earth - how it is spread out?

So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder.

You are not over them a controller.

However, he who turns away and disbelieves -

Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment.

Indeed, to Us is their return.

Then indeed, upon Us is their account."[/b]

The Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) said in a hadith (narration):

‘The reality of faith is knowing that what has passed you by was not going to befall you; and that what has befallen you was not going to pass you by.’ (Tabarani)

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessing be upon him) said, "A man speaks a good word without knowing its worth, Allah records for him His Good Pleasure till the day he will meet Him; and a man utters an evil word without realizing its importance, Allah records for him His displeasure till the day he will meet Him."

[Imam Malik and At-Tirmidhi].

Just keep trying sister for Allaah likes such deeds if done with ikhlaas(sincerity) not riya(showing off) and you can use this good act(tahajjud) to ask Allaah for something.

Salaam alaykum.

Amin.....will be checking up on you from time to time insha Allaah.

When doing dua;

1.) Do it with sincerity, in this case sincerity means, doing your dua that is legislated in the Qur'an and sunnah yani it has authority from Allaah and the prophet.

2.) When doing dua do raise your hands upwards because Allaah is shy when his servant raises his hands to him and his dua is not answered, the prophet said this, not me, and make sure you don't wipe your face after the dua, just drop you hands.

3.) Do not do group dhikr, its bidah, once bidah is used to do a deed it is rejected, so do not waste time and energy.

4.) Let there be element of humility in it.

5.) There is nothing like "ola annabi, ola sheu, ola makkah, ola safa ati marwa"(if you are not yoruba tell me to translate this for you) and some other nonsense, just use your deeds and Allaah's name to ask him.

Salaam alaykum.

@rainyday

I also forgot to mention this, make sure all your consumption are halaal,,your drinking halaal and your wears halaal, in short your source of livelihood should be halaal, a particular sahaba(i think ibn Waqas) was a person whose deeds was always answered when he asks, then other sahabas asked him what he did, then he told them that, he makes sure that everything that enters his mouth his halaal, that is, he always investigate how the thing he is to eat came about.

I will emphasize again, pls make sure whatever dua you want to do, is from Qur'an and the sunnah, whoever recommends a dua, always ask for its proof, a case happened in lag, where a particular "shaykh"(i wont mention name) gave a "dua" to a girl in other to make her brilliant in school, what this shaykh gave to her is the name of jinn, that she should be calling the name at night, and this was how the jinn possesed the girl, it was when rukiya was done on her, the jinn spoke and said it was the girl that kept calling its name. So always know the authority of a dua, and the authority should be Quran and Sunnah.

Do you have any idea how amala is made? Is it just herbs or is there more to it?

And as well add this narration i made, there are many books these people give, many are the names of jinn, they claim its name of Angels, some say "roohaniyyah", "arbabila wa (one nonsense like that)" some might even say "ya jinn ujib" this is outright shirkiyaat, shirk akbaar.

So the source of anything in a book should be questioned.
