i have been saying if the cavs are going to get any real challenge in the east, it's from the raptors. They are probably one trade away from having the perfect matchup against the cavs.

They have played twice this year against cavs, they had the answers for cavs till about 1 minute to go in both games.

They just can't close the game against them, once they figure out how to do that, we have a series in the playoffs.
I don't know who they trade for at this point. Because I feel they have chemistry. A trade could disrupt that.

You are not wrong about your thoughts, and don't over think why you are underrating them because it is legitimate. I feel same way sometimes but their history and record during the post season buttress reasons why.

While they may seem talented, which truthfully they are, their style of play is quite predictable. the Raptors are a jump shooting team whose stars tend to fade whenever you power the bright lights. DeMar has improved his game this season, however, it is still primarily hinged on 18 feet jump shots. Lowry is very inconsistent, infact, he historically has been the weak link during playoff's.

Remember last season when he stayed back after every game to practice shooting because he could not make a bucket to save his life? They need to expand their game past DeMar and Lowry; Carrol is not an offensive threat, however, he is potent on defense, especially one on one perimeter defense. They have nothing solid on the bench to push the game when necessary.

The Cavs or any consistent interior styled team would defeat them in my opinion because of their predictability. So don't over think your choice to underrate the Raptors.
Hmm. I thought this would be a down year for them tbh but I saw their games vs the Rockets and the Hawks. They are a damn good team I no go lie. While Lowry and DeRozan are the stars they have solid role players (Ross, Joseph, Patterson)

I think they rely a little too much on the 3-ball but they are a very cohesive outfit and consistent. Lowry's defense remains underrated and that of the team entirely

Who would you pick to beat them bar the Cavs in the East?

You are actually right, maybe it is just finding that extra niche to close out games?

Bar the Cavs? hmmmmm. I would say a healthy Bulls, maybe the Celtics if they can rebound the ball, and the Bucks would be pushing it.

I don't trust the Raptors bench as much as you do. Patterson, Ross and C. Joseph are not consistent enough to take over offense. Patterson, Ross and Joseph are perimeter shooters just like Lowry and DeMar, maybe a little exception with Ross and his dunks.

I desperately wish they wear their big boy pants during the post season, however, they are way too predictable for comfort. Its kind of annoying because they have Valanciunas, however, the guy fouls out before most 3rd quarters. angry

I think they need to mix it up offensively when it comes to going in the post, and taking jumpers. But Valanciunas can not play like (Hakeem, Okay i just they exaggerate sha angry grin ) in the first quarter, and turn to Kwame Brown in the 3rd and fourth quarter, some of that has to do with Lowry though, they don't feed him the ball.

Derozan is not just a perimeter shooter though, can go to the rim and lay it up too, if raptors can't challenge cavs, Lebron gonna be in the finals till he turns 40.

am team harden too;OKC fans go just dey cry cheesy.
Re: The NBA Begins by Skywalker5(m): 5:02am On Dec 06, 2016
I don't understand how OKC is winning.I mean, the whole game is just on one person.personally, I think Russell is selfish.I might be wrong at that assumption but I watched lots of plays this season where he did not pass to guys that are open.I mean fine, the shots are entering but it all revolves around him.
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 5:35am On Dec 06, 2016
Skywalker5, From his last two All star MVP awards where he took am All star game for a game personal competition, I just accept Westbrook is selfish.. Yes he's a great player and wants to be great but then what's the point when your teammates keep feeling like they can't get things done without you. You even see him fighting for rebound with his teammate. He gets the job done but I'd rather move to a Curry, Chris Paul or Lowry team where I know I can ball with free mind.. I sure sey teammates no dey happy inside.

I was expecting him to go for a dunk and get contacts for free throw at least but he took the easy way out.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:44am On Dec 06, 2016
It's just the HT and GSW are already blitzing their way by 30! Wow!! Soo very unfair. This is what the NBA commission were afraid of happening when Durant moved over, making games less competitive

When Durant said the warriors were not selfish.I believe he was talking about Westbrook and he is right. I believe he might be among MVP this year.this is not helping the team like Anthony Davis, its just pure selfishness.

I agree.. Unselfish basketball is a joy to experience. Hence I don't blame Durant.

Pacers 50-80 GSW 1st Half.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:59am On Dec 06, 2016
Nothing wrong with Westbrook being selfish as far as they are winning, and his team mates his fine with that. He won't go far in the playoffs being selfish though, na him pal Ava be that sha
