Stop saying trash. The only food items we import are rice, wheat and sugar. Rice was banned last year and the following year production increased to 3.5 million MT and it's expected to increase to over 10 million MT before the end of 2018.

Same is about to happen to wheat and sugar.

As for tomatoes, we have more than enough tomatoes in our market but we use to import tomato paste from china but this year we now have our local companies producing enough tomato paste for the entire nation and importation of tomato paste will soon be banned. This was the reason tomato suddenly became expensive some months back. The companies bought a larger portion of what was in the market at once.

Do you know what it means to produce food for 182,000,000 people? And all we import is just Rice, wheat and sugar.

I was thinking you're talking Logistics - where kenya has several mncs (trucking goods all over east and central africa) - with several trucks - with largest being Multiplier hauliers with more than 3,000 trucks.
