dreeyy: I usually don't go into right or wrong arguments on the Internet, but i'll make an exception since pple need the info....I'm quoting standard information on the website..there are usually department condition which might favour special department applicant. .. ..u have to start emailing admission office to consider.Example is university of Amsterdam strictly ask for teofl or IELTs..but when u begin the application proper for the Department of Biochemistry/ Metabolic dieseases..and some other life science courses eg biotechnology, molecular medicine etc...u get waived for toefl and ielts once u have an undergraduate certification in Biochemistry or biotechnology taught in English..... And this same school Ddnt waive jack for MBA and international management masters courses. So just cos u got waived For English test doesn't mean it applies to every one...u re d one that shuld be careful of saying what goes for Taiye must roll for kehinde 1 Like |

olatuns2016:sorry for your refusal, if course mismatch are part of the reasons and you really want to do your supply ish, try to get admitted into economics - which of course you don't want to do and also your supply chain management. Apply for TRV using the economics admission, when you get to canada continue ur life with supply chain management. Downside to this plan is that you have to lose around $100 application fee or so to a program you would never attend. At least its better than silly refusals on course mismatch By the way, i don't know any related course to economics. Other people on the forum can help you out. 1 Like |

Futurewiser: Bro, why would I wanna give such advice, computer science is an amazing course with promising MSC is software design, data security and possibly going into computer engineering with applications in areas such as robotics and artificial intelligence....but if it's the applicant's choice of course he shuld go ahead. with the few admissions I've processed for clients I feel this white peeps like to correlate relevance of undergraduate study nd desired postgraduate course. Also a strong work experience In Line with Public affairs and admin will help...they are not nigerians that employ chemistry graduate in the bank when banking and finance or accounting major with ICAN or ACCA is still looking for job. But all in all God still dey up Really any school is easy to enter so far God still dey up....once u have all it takes as per stated requirement and the witches from ur village ar not stronger than your grace...u can even enter Harvard sef... 1 Like |

Dammy112: I don't know much about employability of different programs. Since your new course isn't related to UG, I will guess you are going for fresh UG. I don't think I will try that if I were you. I advise You should consider something related to your previous UG and change later if you desire it. |

advanceDNA: Bro this isn't even about fighting. UNBC will wave English language requirements for you so far you can get a letter from your university that state categorically your English language proficiency. This is what is applicable to NIGERIANS and NOT just me. Besides those schools you are talking about are out of discourse on here for which there are existing threads for. Everyone's got a plan for why they are going to study abroad. Going to study abroad doesn't mean people don't have what they are doing here. This is a decision strictly based on individual plan irrespective of the cost here or abroad . And we are not even going to fight here coz we are all trying to help anyways. 6 Likes |

Gabrielclint: Hmmm, well you could split the money up and deposit it bit by bit. And write a note to back up the source of the extra income. You could put that you got the extra money from donations/charity from well wishers or family member or just from personal savings account. You don't have to use what I said exactly but just try to proof to them how 3 million miraculously appeared into your account so they dont bounce you again. Just my personal opinion though. Good luck fam |

Gabrielclint: Bro I would actually advice you get your GCMS file before applying. I'm so sure there was something somewhere that the vo saw in your app that you didn't notice. You can as well get a co sponsor who will stand to support you. But its important you exercise patient and get the GCMS before applying. What is worth doing at all is what doing well. 1 Like |

dreeyy: U r d one saying am wrong. like I manufactured what I said from thin air...I can quote my source which is standard criteria from the university' website..http://www.unbc.ca/apply/graduate/supporting-documents Just becos u got a waiver doesn't mean it's not boldly stated on their website..u saying am wrong is totally uncalled for.. someone asked for general schools he can get full or partial scholarship..did he at any point state he wanted only Canadian scholarship for his brother and babe?? ...I seem not to understand why u seem to label wrong on my posts, what's wrong with giving helpful tips about available scholarships in other places other canada. someone can make use of it. Infact someone asked for it And u stating reasons for travelling sounds pretty defensive I don't think I questioned or judged you or anybody's decision to take a hike from Nigeria....infact I give helpful tips to people trying to do so tru educational means that can't really find their way around it.. |

I think Dreeye and advancedDNA are both right. Dreeye - most schools in Canada waive the English Language requirement for Nigerians. Thats correct. advancedDNA - while UNBC doesn't necessarily put Nigeria on their English exempt list, an applicant from Nigeria can clearly ask for an exemption. Most applicants from Nigeria should ask for an exemption since our language of instruction is English and we conduct our day to day activities in English at least in most cities in Nigeria. See details below for details. http://www.unbc.ca/apply/graduate/english-language-requirements Both of you are doing a great job helping others. Thumbs up. advanceDNA: 2 Likes |

Your case nor be here Ooo ... Anyways, chances are relatively slim, but if I may ask, why do you want to change course? Any previous medical related job, academic qualification (s)? What have you been doing since you graduated? Please answer this few questions and let's know way forward. Dammy112: 1 Like |
