I will not neccesarily say nobody cares at all. There are multiple issues here - There is just not much job creation taking ppace that will assimilate the number of graduates that Nigeria produces. The lack of infrastructure (especially light) is making it very difficult for bright-minded folks to get their ideas implemented. Also, the education system just does not prepare some of our graduates well. For example, how can you have a computer science graduate that has not written/compiled/tested a single line of code. These are just some of the so many issues facing us in Nigeria. With that said, there are still some opportunities to get started. I know it's not easy.

I never knew there were so many needs to meet and make money from. Being a Chief complainer and fault finder, I began to listen to my own complains and started a business and project to augment my salary just my listening to everything I complain about.

Train yourself to be a solution finder, and you will never be poor.

from experience you will find out that most of the people despising op just like the people on this thread that are making ridiculously harsh comments are actually gainfully employed, instead of them to encourage op or show/give him opportunities that will better his life,

they trying to condemn Op to oblivion.

ironically, it is these kinds of people that will suicide themselves within a twinkle of an eye, when they are by chance hit with the kind of hardship op is currently passing through.

You discover that the more you tell people your problems the more they mock you and use you as a topic of discussion, and the more you get frustrated. Nobody helps anybody again in Nigeria.

This is to me and all those nairalanders like me, coming to seek for help......coming to seek for job.....Stop begging for job, stop hoping that someone will help you here. Drop that your certificate, in fact go and hide it(i just did that today) Go out there, carry concrete-in-pans on your head and climb a 3- storey building, wash toilets, carry loads for people, work as labourer on site, carry packages from container to store, carry cement, do all sorts of dirty jobs and make money.. ....no matter how small. At least you won't beg anyone, or hope on anyone.

Studied Geology, finished with a second class upper. I'm 25years. I have radio experience. So anyone who can help me, plsssss do.

As for girls, I don't care much. Cus I know that to have the kind of lady I want, the girl of my dreams, I have to at least be on the path to actualizing my dreams and that's for me is opening the phone shop.

I thank God for his mercies upon my life. To be jobless is very depressing. In fact people who promised to help became quiet over it. Some would see you and even stop greeting you. They will stop picking your calls.
Cleaning toilets, carrying loads and all sorts was out of it. God had mercy on me that I did not lift a cement on my head. I contemplated doing it but something kept holding me back. I use to ask myself, "if I have to carry cement or wash toilets, for how long can I continue this way?" My future looked bleak.
One day, things just turned around. A friend I had not seen in the last 5 years called me out of the blues and asked me for my CV. A week later I was called for an interview. Today, it's history. I got the job . Did I also tell you that I was attending an interview for a teaching job when I received that call ?
