The text "1983" was wrongly transliterated. He actually said that Nigeria expired in 2013, 100 years after it was created.

Actually Nigeria did not expire in 2013 because in 1963 after Awolowo had been jailed, representatives of the regions agreed in parliament (controlled by Azikiwe's NCNC and Sir Ahmadu Bello's NPC coalition government at the time) that Nigeria should continue to exist indefinitely as a Republic , and that was how Akintola was imposed on the western region against the British privy council court decision in favour of Adegbenro who was appointed by Awolowo's Action group party .
At the time before Nigeria became a repubiic the British privy council court was Nigeria's highest court and it ruled against Akintola continuing as the premier of the western region after Sir Adesoji Aderemi, removed the Premier of the Region from office as a result of receiving sixty-five signatures from members of the House of Western regions house of assembly stating that they no longer supported the Premier, Samuel Ladoke Akintola.

Is he right or wrong?

Did Buhari commit any offence by staging a military coup in 1984?

Has Nigeria not expired? January 1st, 1914 - December 31st, 2013 = 100 yrs.

I'm not sure Linda Ikeji, Phyno, Iheanacho, Steven Keshi family, Pet Edochie and co will like the idea of forfeiting their properties in Lagos, Abuja and/or Jos or at best auctioning them at cheap rates to migrate to the SE.

Well, you may say they are celebrities and their opinions don't matter.

What about the Priests, Doctors, Professors and First respondents serving elsewhere out of the SE? There's so many questions

I support restructuring but not break up. Back to regionalism

P.S I'm not Igbo

Don't Nigerians own properties in USA? If yes, why can't Biafrans legitimately own properties in Nigeria if eventually Biafra comes?

I am beginning to see reasons with this Kanu guy! If the government has nothing to hide, just try this fella in the open and get it over with.

All these dilly-dallying, back & forth, hidden witnesses and all that crap won't help government case. They will only succeed in appealing to neutral opinions like myself about the pros of this biafran whatnot.
the way kanu is acting at Everytime he appears in the court room is enough to justify the secret trial on the ground that whoever testify against him openly is in danger as kanu himself has shown that he is a dangerous man.
he claim to be fighting for his right while he doesn't know his responsibility.

no.

Maybe its because we will hold our own referendum forbidding any Biafran citizen to own any property on Nigerian soil and put it as a clause in our new Nigerian constitution

Only CHRIST heals bitterness,

I think I would agree with you that Nigeria can not be said to have expired. I mean, it was not like the 99 year lease of Hong Kong that Britain signed with china, that expired in 1999.

Britain stiched the different nationalities of Nigeria into one state by sheer force of arms, conquest, and intimidation. The philosophical legitimacy of the amalgamation is what is in question. However by the principle of 'survival of the fittest', they reserved the right to dispose of a conquered people as they may choose.

Shame leave you dey catch me. See how you are justifying the shameless act of a convicted man that took his life by drinking rat poison. In chains, Kanu is still being brave. How many of your leaders can sustain a war against any tribe for a month. You are talking about a man that fought in trying to defend his people. The war lasted for 3 years despite assistance from numerous world powers. Look at the map of Nigeria and you will respect Ojukwu for leading his people in an unprepared war for three years.

Liberia survived two civil wars in fifteen years (1989 to 2003) more than 600,000 people died in a country of less than four million.
That is why Charles Taylor had to be disgraced in the Hague's international criminal court.
He started another civil war in neigbhouring Sierra Leone as well.

Let us all pray for Christ to establish his peace in our country and that we learn to love each other.

You're right, let's just pray for peace. Read through Martin Meredith's 'State of Africa' and I wept. The whole continent is sick, bro

Remember the hatred already sown. If Biafra comes through referendum (which I highly doubt due to the FG's immaturity and lack of sincerity) , Biafrans have a right to stay back in Nigeria as foreign nationals. But if Biafra comes through war (God forbid) then be sure these properties will be confiscated as they were in 1967- 70.

Either way, i'm open to whatever alternative to a peaceful settlement

Buhari rightly fit to be called a TERRORIST because of his refusal to release Kanu despite Ecowas and a Nigerian courts of competent jurisdiction order to him to do so. A ruler who wilfully disobeys court order is a terrorist and unfit to rule.

The truth is that nigria and biafra never fought a war rather a genocide was comited or should I say attempted against the biafran's by the nigeran government for if it was a war nigeria would have been no match with biafra so if eventually there's another war it will be a chance for the biafran's to revenge there innocent women and children whom were bloodly massacred

I think it is deliberately being silly to ask Igbos to stay in a country thst is determined to treat them as second class citizens and discriminate against their region in basic infrastructure &opportunities

All Human history show people will always fight for their right to freedom. From the Israelites fighting Egyptian pharaohs to world war 2 to fight against apartheid and the coming fight for Biafra, humans will act the same way unless you truly give them freedom

I feel sorry for any Eastern folk who sincerely wants Biafra as these Kanu lot have continued to do irreparable damage to the whole idea.

These idiots set up a clandestine and unregistered organization, sojourned abroad soliciting for funds and weapons to prosecute a war against sovereign Nigeria, set up an illegal and unregistered broadcast medium, flooded the Nigerian radio space and internet with hate mongering and hate speech (like calling Hausas cows and regarding them as vermin), mounted transmitters illegally on few MTN masts without the knowledge or approval of the owners, inciting Igbos to pick up arms against a sovereign Nigeria etc etc.

Ordinarily, one would expect them to be subjected to a summary trial and simply shot and buried behind an army barrack. However as I am an advocate of the abrogation of capital punishment, I will love to see these Hitler versions 0.0005 locked up behind bars forever!
