I submitted all my previous employment letters and my study leave plus the training certificates that I obtained, please what else do you think I could have submitted something else that I didn't.

Bro that guy wasn't just ready to see any reason for your change of career having study economics. Your best bet is go with economics and change it to hrm on your arrival.

Good morning all. I am about applying for aa Canada study permit and I need your help in getting it right. I am naming my husband as sponsor who will be funding the postgraduate programme via a loan he applied for in his office. My application will be sent in this month and d loan will be paid into his salary account this month as well. Will this affect my application? Considering d statement will read d said amount as lodgment. I will be attaching his letter of request for the loan and also the approval. Will these help? Please advise.

I will advice you ask him to send either all or most part of the loan amount into your account since you said its meant for your study purpose and explain it further in your sop. You can also provide some evidences like the loan application forms where your husband indicated the purpose of the loan being for your study purposes.

Finally, my TRV is approved.

God has done it for me finally! The wait was very painful. But once the CIC commenced the process, I noticed there was no delay.

Applied (online) - 27 October 2016
Biometrics - 28 October 2016
Medical call up - 29 December 2016
Did medical examination - 30 December 2016
Passed medical - 2 January 2017
Passport request email - 6 January 2017
Passport collected with TRV - 12 January 2017

To all expecting their TRVs, just keep believing yours is on the way!

I was supposed to resume in school by 1 January 2017 (latest 9 January 2017). Eventually, I had to defer resumption till May 2017.

God bless you all!

Try and submit the SOA of your sponsor with yours. Though account balance is important, evidence of inflow of funds (fund history) is also critical. Hope this helps.

It may not be wise to travel months before your resumption as you will most likely be without health insurance during that time. Usually schools provide health cover for international student at the beginning of the semester, I'm willing to bet yours does this too. This is something officials at the point of entry also consider so arriving way too early might raise a red flag.

He may travel a month or weeks before his resumption, I know someone who did that. when he get to POE, he should simply tell them he came early to fully settle down before classes start proper. He is only going to spend more to keep up. If he doesn't want to spend more, he can travel a week to his resumption.

At the moment, if he is not working, he can be thinking about how beautiful his future is going to be, drink beer some evenings, have fun with friends cautiously and read some books in preparedness for studies.

hello gurus in the Huz i am a bit confused here, and i need Ur help most especially @michv and @EMMAN4EVE,I link my application to online since 30th of OCT 2016 And i can see everything but on the 20th of NOV 2016 up-till now when i check my application through the online platform and click check application statuts it will show that my application is currently not available but today when i track my application through VFSgobal site it show dis
Visa application, tracking ID No.20161027GHANSTU---12– Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office ACCRA , on 11/01/2017 to the Canada Visa Application Center. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website and my online see shows no new massage from CIC and my application status is currently not available

Were you invited for medicals? If yes, you can only be hopeful that your app has been approved (NB some people get refused even after medical passed update) If no, you can still hope for the best, but this direction points to refusal.

Just be hopeful for a good outcome of your application

I don't think you have a problem, CIC wont issue you visa more than the expiry date on your passport. You can renew your passport in Canada before expiration of your visa and extend your visa prior to completing your studies. You can go ahead and apply for your visa, you are good to go

Hello house please my question is to those who do upfront medicals. Does your review of medical result change to passed in your cic account or does it remain medical review not started

Once the upfront medical information is reviewed and you meet the requirements, it will be updated to 'medical passed' on your account.Until that happens, it's still pending a review with the 'medical review not started' status.

Thank you. But does reviewing the medicals mean a visa would be given
